Jared Johnson is one of the final contestants in CMT's Can You Duet competition.

TOP 7!!!

Well, David and I made it to the top 7!!! The show was amazing! We opened the show with "Johnny Cash" the Jason Aldean single. I was a little nervous about it but the judges had nothing but positive things to say after our performance. I think the judges feel good about putting us together and I am starting to feel a lot better about our chances of going further in this competition.

David and I have only sung 2 songs together and we really don't know each other that well but I think it is coming together. I think David is still pretty upset about losing his partner LB. But I also think he realizes he may have something in his new duo partner.

We have a lot of work to do. Our next show is in a week. Not sure about what song we are gonna do for sure but we are thinking about Small Town Saturday Night by Hal Ketchum. It is one of my favorites and I think the judges will like it as well. Most importantly I hope you guys out there enjoy it.
