Chris Cline is a finalist on CMT's Can You Duet competition.
Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the support! It was a huge shock getting voted off this past week! But if I had to go, I feel that the performance was a great one to leave on. Everything is just beginning!! I’m not sure if Nate and I will stay together. We both have plans for making some great music!! Please keep a lookout for my record and stay up to date with me at www.myspace.com/chrisclinemusic. I’m so excited about sharing my heart and music with the world!! God Bless

Hey Ya'll
You know, I never saw myself here in the spotlight. Being on stage singing was the last thing I ever saw myself doing a few years back. I always was an athlete and had dreams to be a professional baseball player. I was getting recruited by top 30 schools in the nation and after a shoulder injury my senior year of high school I really thought God didn't have anything for me. I was wrong. He knew better. So first off before anything is said, I have to give a big thank you to Jesus Christ for getting me through a messy life that doesn't deserve to be doing this. It brings me to tears thinking how good God's been.
After getting paired with Nate, we feel like we have meshed pretty naturally. We both lead simple lives and have been thrown into this big world of music and television. Singin' "Boot Scootin' Boogie" was a blast! The judges really encouraged us to have a kickin' song that would show our stage presence. Hopefully we showed the judges a bit of that charisma we possess. We tried to make the song our own while keeping the integrity of the original artists' interpretation.
Believe it or not, that was the first song I ever sang on stage in front of my peers in the 4th grade talent contest! I had a huge ugly orange electric guitar that everyone made fun of. It's kinda funny how things work out, that being the first song I sang on stage at the Wildhorse here in Nashville.
This next week coming up, we are going to go with more of a vocally challenging song choice. Fans, thanks for all your support!! We love ya'll!!
