Eamon McLoughlin

Eamon McLoughlin plays fiddle and sings with the Nashville-based band, The Greencards. Growing up in London, he played country music with his family on the weekends and was raised on George Jones, George Strait and Ricky Skaggs. In 1997 he moved to Austin for the dynamic live music scene and five years later met his current bandmates in a recording studio on South Lamar. Together they have released three albums on Dualtone Records, topped the U.S. Billboard bluegrass charts, toured with Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, and continue to keep a rigorous and demanding touring schedule. He is currently sitting in a white van on some highway, trying to get to sound-check. Please move aside if you see him. The Greencards have been nominated for a 2008 Grammy in the country instrumental category.
