Carrie Underwood's Wedding Had a Sweet Ending

Carrie UnderwoodWell? Which dessert did Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher choose? The buttermilk pie from the Yesterday Café in Greensboro, Ga.? Or the cupcake tower from a Nashville area bakery? No one knows exactly what was served after dinner at their July 10 wedding (except the people who were actually there eating it all and then signing non-disclosure agreements), but some stories out there have me wondering if maybe they had two desserts. One may have been this sweet egg custard pie made from an old family recipe and a whole lot of sugar, butter, buttermilk and eggs. And the other was this tower of about 250 cupcakes from Ivey Childer's bakery, IveyCake, in Franklin, Tenn. No offense to the buttermilk, but I would've gone with a cupcake -- vanilla with white vanilla buttercream icing covered with pearls and pink glitter you could eat. But what I want to know is, where was the chocolate gravy and biscuits Underwood told me she loved way back in 2007?

The buttermilk pie may have been served at the rehearsal dinner on Friday night, Ivey cakes at the wedding - as for Choclate sauce over biscuits - sounds like a chocolate shortcake, but my be too much a personal fav of Carrie’s for all her guests to like it, maybe some pears with Grand Marnier and chocolate sauce on gourmet biscuits could have worked - sounds like she wanted to go with her friend and the Yesterday Cafe

The custard pie sounds great and the cupcakes very yummy. Never heard of the choclate sauce with biscuts but hey, I eat some strange stuff too!

The tower of 250 cupcakes tower from Ivey Childer were served at the wedding. The bottom tier of the tower cake was a chocolate cake covered with cream cheese icing because Mike loves chocolate. It is now called the I DO cupcake and it’s just added on the menu. Accdg. to Ivey, Carrie came up with the name. It is getting popular and Ivey is getting national and worlwide exposure. Good for her. The cupcakes sound great.

i’s so excited for carrie, i’m such a fan of her vocals and of her personality, she seems like a really neat and amazing sweet person,i always root for those kinds of people. she seems so humble, grounded, and very strong in who she is and in what she believes she does us women justice, she is what i think “real women” should act like.

“go carrie way to represent a strong intelligent and beautifull woman”….

i also think Mike Fisher is so handsome, he isnt the typical pretty boy feature hollywoodish guy..he’s the opposite of that…you know MASCULINE with man features rugged, a man who can hold his own..he is definitely no pretty boy..he’s just the way a man should be…what kind of woman wants a man who looks like a pansie anyway!!..lol

    WISH THEM THE BEST!
