Chris Young Gives a Backyard Concert
Last week I wrapped things up with a few shows at Lake Winnepesaukah in Georgia. What a great place to play! I love getting to spend time down there. At the start of this week, I actually got to stay in Nashville for a couple of days. I spent most of the time writing songs and washing clothes -- exciting, right? On Thursday, my guitar player and I flew out to Lake Tahoe, Nev., for a private show. Christy and Ken won a national radio contest from After MidNite with Blair Garner that had us play in their back yard. They had nearly a hundred people there and we had a blast playing for them and meeting everybody. Christy and Ken, thanks again for being such great hosts!
After that, we met up with the tour bus and the rest of the band for back-to-back shows with Rascal Flatts at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe. The shows were amazing because it was almost perfect weather at 80 degrees with no humidity. That is quite a change from the weather we have been having in Tennessee, so we loved it. After the second show, we left Tahoe and started heading towards Missouri. We just keep on rolling! Looking forward to another week out on the road!

I will see you again tomorrow night in Tulsa. looking forward to it. Remember how warm it was when you were here in March at TCL? Well one of our Banks is registering 205 degrees and another says 185 degrees. LOL. So, be prepared it is very hot and humid here. I told everyone I was going to the Chris Young concert and Rascal Flatts just happens to be scheduled too. Love you Chris.

If you ever get a chance, you should come to Florida. Fans like me would love to see you perform down here since some fans like me have never seen you perform. So if you’re ever thinking of heading to Florida, Palm beach, FL would be a nice place to see you perform. Well I hope the tour goes well and stay safe!
p.s. I know you’ll be in palm beach FL opening for rascal flatts, but you should think of performin down here with your own tour.

Hey Chris, I didn’t know if you were taking questions or not but I’m going to ask anyways if you can’t answer that’s ok…I was wondering if there were any female vocalists you would like to do a duet with? I think you should do a duet with Allison Krauss on the song When You Say Nothing At All. Besides that though is there another one you maybe had in mind?

That backyard concert sounds awesome… how about you come and play in my backyard on August 3rd. I’m only allowed to have 24 friends come over, but we’ll still have a blast!!! I can’t believe I won that contest!!! We’ll have plenty of things for you to autograph, and are just gonna hang out all night, so don’t rush off. Winning you to perform in our backyard from the Blair Gardner After Midnite Show was a once in a lifetime experience. We were so very excited to share this gift with our families, friends and neighbors. It turned out to be a perfect evening in Windy Wellington, Nevada. The wind was light, we had a rainbow and lightening across the valley while you and Kevin were performing in our backyard, to top it off, we had amazing clouds that turned all the colors with the sunset. You couldn’t have been more charming….you fit right in with our family….
