Zac Brown Band Working on a "Sweeter" Album

Zac Brown BandFinally. It seems like this has taken forever and a day. It hasn't, but I guess when you love something so much, like the way I loved Zac Brown Band's The Foundation, you want more and you want it immediately. So according to Billboard, the bulk of their second album is done. That's what guitarist-keyboardist Coy Bowles said, anyway. "I would say 85 percent of the album is already cut," he said, estimating that the new effort could possibly be out in the fall. That sounds great. But then he goes on to say that the new stuff "steps in a direction of maturity without going over people's heads. It's just been seasoned a little bit -- it's still the same wine, just a couple of years older and it tastes a little sweeter." Seriously? I hope they didn't stray too far from the formula that won them that very well-deserved Grammy for best new artist earlier this year.

Redmaz is right. ZBB band second album has been done for at least five years. Does anyone do any research anymore?
