Jim Beam Brings You Unreleased Kid Rock Tune, "Times Like These"
Now that Kid Rock has announced he'll be hosting the CMT Awards in June, I'm thinking about how much I love a lot of his music. It may not be straight-up country, but what I hear I like. And now there's a way (a FREE way) to get more music from Rock. Stuff that's never been released. You just have to be a Jim Beam drinker. Special editions of Beam are out now with the download info, then you just go to www.jimbeam.com to get it. Of all the songs on the free download, I like "Times Like These" the most, because he manages to work in a little nod to John Rich's "Shuttin' Detroit Down" in the lyrics. The other songs are live versions of some of his best stuff, from a concert in Detroit last summer. Rock admits he's been "one of Jim Beam's best consumers for years," so the partnership makes sense. And it's even better news for his biggest fans who can't usually download his music because of his longstanding boycott of iTunes.

Betts says:
I was at the Comerica Park concert last year and heard this song, Awesome, Touching and oh so real. Would not expect anything less from the child.
Hoping he can make my 50th birthday party!
