Editor's note: Chris Young will be blogging each week from the road while he's opening shows on Alan Jackson's Freight Train tour with Josh Turner.

Just got off of the stage in Greenville, S.C., and man it was awesome! This is the fourth day of the Freight Train Tour -- and all four days were great. You guys blew me away with the standing ovations! The fact that I got a standing ovation all four nights of the tour so far is truly amazing. I was not expecting that response, and you have no idea what that means to me. Josh Turner and Alan Jackson both put on a great show, and I'll try to sneak you some details about that next week! Alan actually pulled me up on his bus today to say "hi." It's an awesome feeling to be welcomed by one of my heroes. And let me tell you, he has a ridiculously cool bus, and it looks amazing on the inside. I love my bus, but his definitely has more video screens. We'll see if he lets me try out my Wii system on there! haha. It's looking like this is gonna be a great tour! Hope to see you out there -- CY

Sorry Chris. I was just being a brat. So glad the fans have embraced your music out on the road. It must be awesome and to tour with AJ? WOW! I’ll be you learn a lot. Wish I could get the chance to see ya’ll but it’s not in the cards. Good luck!

You rocked Saturday night in Alpharetta…just wish you’d been able to play longer! And it was so great to meet you (twice) that night! See you at the fan club party in June :)

So glad you have had this opportunity to play with AJ and JT! Can’t wait to see you when the Freight Train stops in our town. I am sad that you can’t play longer of course. So proud of all you accomplished this year! :D

Not that I wish for the tour to be over, but I CANNOT wait until your last stop in Lexington, KY!! I’ve seen you at the Opry. I love your voice and every song you sing! You’re great at what you do. Glad the tour is off to a great start. You deserve it!!

So proud to be a Chris Young fan!!! I can’t wait to see you next month on the Freight Train tour. Of course I wish it was more than 6 songs, but those 6 will be perfect I am sure, they always are. Can’t wait to hear ya say…”Thanks gang for my second #1!” I feel it coming!!!!

Hi Chris!! I am so happy to hear you are having such a great time on Tour!! I am coming to your show on May 1st and I can hardly wait. Your songs are amazing! Saw Alan last year when he was in Tulsa with Gloriana. Saw you at Tulsa County Line March 18. On my way down to take pics I fell (hard) and lived with a very swollen ankle for 2 weeks, but that fall was not going to keep me from seeing you up close. Loved the show. Have been a big fan since your first song on Nashville Star. Glad you are doing so good. Hope to see you again. Love ya, Carolyn

You won my heart the first time you sang on Nashville star and my husband calls you my “Young” Hunk as HE is the “old” one. I even brought my daughter to a radio tour you did in Modesto, Ca for KAT country so my daughter could see the kind of guy I WANT her to bring home. Hi Chris,

please come to the melody tent on cape cod. I have a horse out back in our barn that my bf and I can’t leave with anyone (no “hoofsitters” )so we can’t travel off the cape to see you in concert.

it’s a small but cozy place. if you do come, would you kindly send us 2-4 tickets first because we won’t have a chance of getting in to see you!

I know it’s asking a lot but we can’t leave the horse (he’s alone out there and we just can’t leave him)

there’s nothing better than listening to you sing while doing barn chores, it doesn’t get much better than that :)

Saw you in manchester nh. WoW! you were so personable and I love an entertainer that acknowledges his band. Please post more pictures with no hat cause you really looked HOT.
