Kellie Pickler Struts Her Stuff for Sir Sean Connery
Sassy singer Kellie Pickler showed off a flattering black cocktail dress and stylish matching hat as she strutted down the runway earlier this week at the M2 Ultra Lounge in New York City. She joined a wide range of celebrities like rocker Joan Jett, actor Mike Myers and weatherman Al Roker for the 2010 "Dressed to Kilt" fashion show, an annual charity event hosted by actor Sir Sean Connery. Money raised at the event went to the Wounded Warrior Project, the Paralyzed Veterans of America and Erskine Hospital in Scotland. Dress attire was encouraged to be something Scottish along with a hat for the ladies. As you can see from the photo, Pickler fit right in. In fact, she even says on her Web site that she plans to spend her 25th birthday in Scotland. Asked how one should properly go about wearing a kilt, Pickler jokes in her usual quirky fashion, "Just keep your legs together" and "Be a lady or a gentleman. No cartwheels down the runway."
