Craig Morgan's New Song Is Really Something
Every once in a while, I forget how much I love Craig Morgan. Then a song like his new one comes along, and it reminds me how well his voice can tell a story that is moving, sad and inspirational all at the same time. (Or a story that is just plain ol' fun. He does that well, too.) "This Ain't Nothin'" is about an old man who has just lost everything to a tornado. But since he's the ultimate optimist, he tells a reporter that this ain't nothin' because he lost his daddy at 8 years old, Vietnam killed his baby brother and best friend and his wife of 50 years has passed on. Talk about a survivor. Morgan's Web site has a video of him talking about the song from the Franklin, Tenn., set of the video shoot. And since the song alone made me get all choked up, I could only imagine what a tear-jerker the video would be. Watch it for yourself, and see if you don't reach for a tissue when the old man kisses the dusty photo he pulls from the debris.

Doesn’t surprise me that you like this sidewinder/crooked mouth singer. This dude is almost as bad as Chesney.
Faye says:
Craig Morgan is one of the MOST underrated singers in country music today! Not only does he sing songs with great passion but he knows how to rock it out as well! I have seen Craig in concert several times and have never been disappointed! What I have been disappointed about is how he NEVER gets recognized by the industry in award nominations or many number one songs! Craig is a true country artist and should be recognized more! I am sure this new song will not only touch our hearts but prove my point as what a great singer Craig really is!

LOVE IT !! LOVE IT LOVE IT !!!!!!
rodney says:
faye you are absoulutley right one of the most under rated. i always thought to that conway was underated too even though he got more limelight then craig gets now.
rodney says:
the reason he dont get more recgonition is because like blake shelton lol funny i should mention his name with craig morgan but they kinda remind me of trace adkins a few years back when he didn’t get nominated more, they make good music but they haven’t quite made really really great music just yet and until they get to that point and stay consitant they wont get the love that they desreve. And no offense to keith urban, toby keith, and tim mcgraw when they get nominated but they are nowhere near as good as guys like blake, craig, jamey, eric church, darius, alan, brad and king george
Amarillo Sky says:
Rodney is right, Craig Morgan has made really great music but until he is more consistant, and until he releases another smash like That’s What I Love About Sunday (My 3rd favorite song of all-time), he won’t get any nominations, which is very sad due to the vocal talent he has.
Paranormal_Stormchaser says:
I can’t believe what you people are saying about Craig!!!!! *growls*
He is one of the best country music singers, and he has great looks. I love his music and I just bought his new CD yesterday and I can’t wait to listen to it when I get home.
Kenny Chesney isn’t bad, but I don’t like his music as much anymore.
CRAIG MORGAN FTW!!!

LOVE Craig Morgan!
We, the fans request their songs, we wait in line for their tickets, pay for parking, wait in lines to get into the event and buy their merchandise. We tell everyone what a great show it was and we’d definitley go again. Hats off to the performers that realize their fans are part of why they are where they are. (recent Craig Morgan concert)
To the people that want to have an opening act instead of being the opening act…..pay attention to the 5 year old out there holding a sign for you. Maybe you didn’t know she waited two weeks (since ticket purchase) to come see you. She waited hours to get into your concert. You never even looked at her, waved to her, or acknowledged her waving her handmade sign at you. She has great power, she was a fan. (Recent Uncle Kracker Concert)
