Hannah Montana Set Opened to Military Families
If you've ever tried to get into a taping of Hannah Montana, you know it's right up there with getting into a taping of Oprah, running from "almost impossible" to "never going to happen in your lifetime." But for the March 12 taping, Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus opened the set of the crazy-popular television show to dozens of military families to watch, then actually be on camera as the crowd in a concert scene. Miley told People.com that her dad has always been "super involved with the troops." In fact, Billy Ray had been overseas late last year, and that inspired the show's writers to do something to thank the troops. "It's going to be a satellite thing where the troops can see their kids. It's really cool that they're having the opportunity to say hi to a mom or dad they haven't seen in a long time," Miley said.
