Lady Antebellum Trade Motel 6 for a Million Sales
It's hard to picture Lady Antebellum even setting foot in a Motel 6, let alone sharing a room in one. But before the band was well-known, selling more than a million copies of a single album was a dream the band hadn't even had yet. In this USA Today story, the group's big three (Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood) talk about how things used to be. And how they used to share a single cheap motel room. But Scott says things are different now: "Instead of visiting radio stations and sleeping in Motel 6's, (we're) doing Oprah and Ellen." There's no doubt the band has come a long way. But I'm sure all that hard work and frugality on their road to fame makes them appreciate what they have now. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that.

Motel 6 is nasty and Taylor Swift is too classy to stay there. Lady Antebellum, yeah they look like they might have stayed there back in the day.
Ok. So you know here are some good hotels:
1) Four Seasons, 2) Ritz-Carlton, 3) Mandarin Oriental. I especially like the Ritz-Carlton in Alexandria, VA. Its cheaper than staying in downtown DC but its still a classy place. Marble bathrooms and beautiful decor and classy guests. Not as fancy as in DC but nice when you wanna pinch those pennies.
Now, maybe you don’t need a great hotel. just good will do. THen I recommend Hilton or Marriott. Sheraton tends to be a bit on the nasty side. Rooms a bit worn out.
Now motel 6 is really bottom of the line. Probably better to just sleep in your car or on a park bench. Motel 6 is the kinda motel where people with excessive back hair sleep. Ewww.
