Brad Paisley Updates Twitter During Hospital Visit
By now you've probably heard the news that Brad Paisley was injured during his South Carolina show on Saturday (March 6). But you may not know that he's been constantly giving his fans (and Twitter followers) updates on his post-fall recovery. I think that says a lot about how comfortable Paisley is in his own skin. Plenty of artists would demand super-secret privacy after this kind of thing, as their publicist issues a statement about how so-and-so is healing and hopes you would respect his privacy during this time of recuperation. But then there's Paisley, who posted pictures of himself in the hospital emergency room with eight folks surrounding his bed. ("Here's the fine staff and myself in the ER of M U S C hospital.") And then telling fans yesterday, "Man am I sore today. You guys should see the bruise." He didn't post a picture on Twitter for that one, though. Best of all, he doesn't seem the least bit embarrassed. In fact, he wants to see video of the fall. So much so that he's promising a meet-and-greet to whoever posts footage on the Internet.
