What Will Happen to Lady Antebellum After Oprah
No, I will not be there when Lady Antebellum takes the stage tomorrow Friday (Feb. 19) on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Even though I only live a half hour from the famous studio, I was not invited to the taping. And by "not invited," I mean I tried everything short of selling my soul to go and had no luck. So the queen of Chicago gets the Grammy-award winning trio all to herself and her roughly 8 million viewers. It's Lady A's first time on the show, and I have a feeling it will not be their last. And they won't just be performing their latest song but a whole medley of hits like "I Run to You" and "Need You Now" and, I hope, their new "American Honey." It's going to be a great show. But for Lady A, it's what happens after that coveted spot on Oprah that's so cool. As if their post-Grammy sales were not enough, Lady A will likely be experiencing the Oprah Effect come next week. You know, like when Whitney Houston was on the show and saw a 77 percent sales increase for her I Look to You album. That kind of effect may not be guaranteed, but things usually always get better after a little Oprah.

Why in the world did Kelly and Shannon have to bring Taylor in this conversation. I agree with countryiscool go fly the coop. If you want to go cry you better go somewhere else where people actually care. This article isn’t about her!!!!! It is about Lady A, congradulatins on the big news. They are making it big like I excpected. Go Lady A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
