Blake Shelton Isn't So Sweet on Grammy Tweets
The Grammy Awards seem to have brought out the Twittering fools in almost all the country artists. God love Blake Shelton for always speaking his mind. When he was watching the E! Fashion Police post-Grammy show last night, he tweeted: "As if this isn't miserable enough... There's 178 year old woman ripping on hot girls.." Miranda Lambert got her two cents in as well, twittering that "Country music represented tonight at the Grammy's. I'm so proud to be part of it. Congrats ZB band and Lady A," she said before she took a jab at Lady Gaga by comparing her to a Transformer. Dierks Bentley saw the good in being in Los Angeles for the show: "At least I'm avoiding the nine inches of snow in Nashville," tweeted Bentley, who then later said, "at the Grammys! fingers crossed." Jack Ingram noted, "Grammys 2night. Congratulations to Taylor Swift on all the hardware she will win. I wonder if she'll feign surprise all night or just own it?!" Martina McBride used it to shout out to Swift after the show, saying, "@taylorswift13 congratulations on your big night!!!!!" Then later on Swift said in her tweets, "I will remember this night, this celebration, the screaming and hugging of people I love; the words on cards of hotel room good luck roses."

Steve says:
I saw Miranda’s tweet the other day about country music being represented well at the grammys and thought to myself, “No mention of Taylor Swift?” Hmmm, wonder why. wink wink.
Faye says:
Country music would have been represented a whole lot better if Keith Urban would have had the honor of playing live and would have had the honor of receiving his award on stage and not before the actual telecast. At least we did get to see him in the crowd with Nicole and he presented an award…..I guess that will have to do! Congrats to Keith on winning his third Grammy….only wished he could have won for Country Album of the Year..he deserved it!
GoMIranda says:
Cuz Miranda knows the truth!! She tells it like it is and she is not the only country artist who isn’t afraid to tell the truth.
ZBB and Lady A do need more recognition for their wins.
Faye says:
By the way, would have loved to see Miranda Lambert perform as well. She would have represented the ladies of country very well! Too bad she did not win her first Grammy but congrats to her for her nomination!
Steve says:
GoMIranda, my point exactly.
timcun says:
Personally I was embarrassed that Taylor Swift was representing Country music. I thought Keith Urban should have won for best Country album.
bkbs says:
i also wish miranda had performed. she is country, writes her songs and does not pretend to be something other than what she is, a fab singer with no pretense.
catherine says:
Blake is right about Joan Rivers. I was laughing when I was watching, and trying to understand what that old plastic-faced woman was saying. She has had so many face lifts and other procedures that her mouth doesn’t even open enough now to be able to speak properly. I don’t know why they brought her back.
Sis says:
I agree with Blake and Miranda’s comments. Oh and Steve don’t go bringing Taylor into the conversation. Hopefully more country singers will step up and tell the truth. Lets Go Miranda, Lady A, and Carrie!!!!!!!!
GoMiranda says:
you know it Steve! Miranda does deserve more recognition for her talent. All the Real artists do.
Debbie W. says:
Love Miranda..let’s hope she takes home Grammys next year!
Ernie says:
Miranda rules the country females!!!
Actually, she ‘co-rules’ with Carrie, Reba and Martina. Kellie is great too.
countryiscool says:
I’m with Ernie- love Carrie, Kellie, Reba, and Martina. Add Lady Wynonna, and Trisha Yearwood to that too, also Shania.
countryiscool says:
Miranda too- that was a given.
shirley says:
Like I said before if Taylor swift is country god help us all.Mirade and Blake keep telling it like its is. I LOVE mATINA mCBRIDE BUT SHE IS SO WRONG ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT. PLEASE SEE HER FOR WHAT SHE IS FAKE FAKE FAKE
Jen says:
Keith should have performed. When you think about it do people really remember who won from year to year. They do remember performances. I will never forget Keith’s grammy performance of You’ll Think of Me. It made me a fan forever.
JordanParker says:
I still don’t understand why you people hate Taylor so much. I believe these two have no respect for other people like or talent that is not hillbilly… Just like Blake’s sorry a.. sat in the audiance and did not clap for Daughtry and Vince Gill at the CMA’s…. Now be honest no one in country except Carrie Underwood even come close to the vocal talents of Chris. Hell, no man should have had the guts to get up on stage and accpet singer of the year after hearing him…. but different strokes….Stop the hate
Francesca says:
…to jordan, this is not about hate. It is the truth about who has talent and who doesn’t in the singing department.
to Jen, so True about the performances, that is definitely what people remember. Performances can make or break you.
JordanParker says:
Francesca… if you say so then it isn’t hate.. In the singing department you say?…Have you heard of Stevie Wonder, Bob Dillon? Heck, heard of Lil’ Wayne …None of them sound good to me but that does not stop them from being superstars or Hall of Famers or Life Time Achievement award winners. I can’t stand to hear Beyonce’s voice but she still breaks records in the “music” industry every year…there is no explanation for taste, mine included….lol
Since you didn’t disagree, I take it you are a Daughtry fan as well….
Have a good one
Francesca says:
Yes I like Daughtry too!
jim says:
Miranda tops talk about a talent her and Blake both. When I listen to Taylor Swift I fell like I’ve been to a coffee house listening to folk music in the woodstock days. She not country see folk, they could have done a lot better with someone who is REAL country.
