Tim McGraw Stages "Comeback Concert" for Film

Tim McGrawTim McGraw will be there. And it is a concert. But it is NOT a Tim McGraw concert. Then again, it's free, so what the hell? This "concert" is being filmed in Nashville for the upcoming McGraw and Gwyneth Paltrow movie called Love Don't Let Me Down. They'll be doing a scene that is the comeback concert of has-been country singer Kelly Canter (Paltrow). The "opening acts" will be played by Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund, and the Lost Trailers will be there to play for the crowd as well. (But just so you know, don't expect live singing out of the actors. They'll be lip-syncing. But at least they're being upfront and honest about that.) This faux show is happening Tuesday (Feb. 2) at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. You do have to be 18 to enter, though. E-mail your ticket requests to: freefilmconcert@gmail.com.
