I Think Toby Keith's Tractor Donation's Sexy
I know rock stars are nice, too, but when I read about how quick country stars are to make donations of all shapes and sizes, I feel even better about this genre. Like how Toby Keith provided seven semitrailers to Project Haiti. So now there are seven more ways for supplies to be shipped to those in need. And if you want to help fill those semitrailers, the things they need the most right now are things like first aid kits, bandages, rubbing alcohol, wipes, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, soap, purified water, hydration containers, non perishable food, baby formula, diapers, work gloves, tarps, face masks, headlamps, clothing and blankets. This effort, of course, is on top of the Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief telethon that Taylor Swift and Keith Urban took part in last week and raised more than $57 million.

I don’t see anything “sexy” about this story. Just somebody helping out where there is a need. I guess “some bloggers” think they need to sensationalize their titles in order to get people to read them……I call that “shoddy” journalism.

I agree, Cindy is right. Toby Keith is doing a nice thing, but not a “sexy” thing.

What does being a rock star have to do with this? Is this some kind of contest to see whether country stars or rock stars make bigger donations?
What happened in Haiti is a disaster for humanity, not an appropriate excuse to swoon over Toby Keith because he made it marginally easier for someone to donate diapers. Again, what Toby did was good, but really not related to sex.

Agreed, sexy is not appropriate here! Toby is a great caring person and is able to do something good for man kind.
He does not require all the media fanfare like a lot of the stars do for his caring ways.

The money that Hope for Haiti raised was fantastic, but the people trying to get the area stabilized and running again urgently needed some earth-moving machinery and a means of delivering large-scale supplies to those in need. Always a pragmatist, Toby’s donation was exactly what was necessary. Good job, Toby.
