Carrie Underwood Doesn't Tweet, But She Blogs
Carrie Underwood has said before that Twitter feels like organized stalking. But if you're willing to pay to join her fan club ($24.99 plus $11.24 shipping and handling for T-shirts, tote bags, etc.), you can hear her random ramblings on Carrie's Blog. But today, you can read it for free on Us magazine's Web site. And you can hear her joke about giving up the music business ("I'm going to become a professional sitcom actress! LOL! Just kidding"), how awesome her upcoming tour will be ("I'm kind of disappointed that I'll be on the stage and not in the audience") and how being a farm girl came in handy when she was on the set of How I Met Your Mother ("I think I was the only one who knew how to hold and wasn't afraid of a little piglet!") It's all very charming and piques your curiosity enough to think about spending that $36.23 to find out what she'll say next.

I cant wait to see her on HIMYM episode. I think it would be awesome. I hope she will tour in Seattle area because it`s close where I live. I desperately want to see her concert this year. I am excited for her performance at the Grammy`s because it`s going to be the highlight of the show and the whole world is watching for the tribute to MJ and it`s an honor for Carrie to be a part of it. MJ has a big admiration for Carrie and her vocal abilities so she was handpicked. Way to go Carrie. I will be watching.
Bernie says:
“…so she was handpicked.” From the grave, was it?
countryiscool says:
Hey rustie, I love Carrie too & live only an hour or so south of Seattle.
K says:
I like reading Carrie’s blogs, but I think it’s wrong that US Weekly is reposting them for free. Members of her fanclub pay to read those; it’s a special treat for her loyal fans, and I believe it should stay that way.
I can’t wait to see Carrie on “How I Met Your Mother;” from the pictures, it looks like she had so much fun, and Niel Patrick Harris had nothing but positive things to say about Carrie. She has never acted before, so it will be interesting to see what she is capable of. It’s nice to see so many country artists getting acting gigs; it brings more mainstream attention to a genre that is often neglected outside of Nashvile.
Carrie is in a great place in both her professional and private life. It’s great to see her already getting so many new oppertunities with acting roles, variety shows, and honors outside of the country music genre. This is just the start of everything to come for her.
Don says:
It is wrong for US to post them and wrong for CMT to link the post. But CMT is a mess , what else is new.
Can’t wait to see what all Carrie has in store over the next few months! And the PO tour!!!
bobbalynn says:
I can,t wait for her tour to start, and yes its worth the money for the fan club, because i,m a member i have second row seats i can,t believe it, and i did,nt pay an arm and a let either for the tickets. yeah people should,nt be posting her blogs thats wrong!!!
rustie says:
Oh Bernie, you sound like a bitter non Carrie fan and a jealous one. Too bad for you. The five artists are handpicked by the producer and family because MJ have admired all of them. It`s a fact and you can be as cynical as can be Bernie but it`s a fact. So join us and watch the amazing night. She will be one of the honored performer for the tribute; cant handle it eh Bernie?
Rita says:
My daughter knows what a fan I am of Carrie’s and got us tickets to her concert in May. I am so excited about it. I Twitter, but I can see why she wouldn’t want to. It just isn’t everyones cup of tea and for a person who would get thousands of twitters a day it can consume alot of time. I have no problem at all with joining her fan club either. She is really nice and very grounded.
jessa says:
i love carrie and if you love her that much you join her fanclub plus its worth it, because you are updated regularly and for her concert tickets you are the first to buy before anyone else whcih means great seats…and since shes about to go on tour soon its worth it!
i looooooooooove carrie have fun rita at the concert cyah fans out there!
Ashley says:
I’m quite angry that US Weekly is posting Carrie’s blogs. That is supposed to be her private way to blab to fans, and to have them reposted on rag mag websites is just a slap in the face to not only Carrie, but also to the dedicated fans who pay that 36.23 to have that exclusive right (me included). It’s just distasteful. Just saying. Anyways, I don’t blame Carrie for not getting a Twitter. It’s so time-consuming. I’m even distracted when I get on it!!!
But overall, I love being a member of Carrie’s fan club and reading her blogs. She’s so random and hilarious.
Wanda says:
Other than bernie it is so nice to see nice things being said about her i am an older fan and i have always loved her voice and music especially play on love the duet with vince and besides she is a fellow okie cant go wrong there
barb b says:

JimmyJames says:
$36. Lol. Suckers!
Jan says:
$36.23 to be a fan, that is sad.
TwoCents says:
Carrie Underwood you are busted. I can read what Taylor has to say for free.
rustie says:
TwoCents and Jan you get other perks for being a fan such as getting a T-shirts, tote bags and good deals on her tours and others and it`s not just a blog. You`re not a fan obviously so stay at your favourites`s artist blog. Be happy of where you are.
Ernie says:
Carrie’s fan club is an AWESOME deal!!
NOT HAPPY says:
I LOVE BEING IN CARRIE’S FAN CLUB AND I AGREE IT IS AN AWESOME DEAL!
1Cathie says:
Most artist have membership fees to join their fan clubs, at least the artist I love and support. The pre sale and meet and greet opportunities are certainly a nice way for the artist to thank their fans.
Carrie is surely #1, because I can’t think of any other blog from any artist ever being reprinted without permission. I wonder if reprinting is legal?
friendly poster says:
taylors fans are children. Carrie’s are adults. nuff said
Michelle says:
why can’t you guys stop saying Taylor’s name when the article isn’t even talking about Taylor ok and i don’t have no problem with them (US Magazine) to repost Carrie’s blogs because there is people out there that don’t the money to join Carrie’s fan club (like me) i did join but my money got lost in the mail and i haven’t been able to join it because don’t have money and hope i am not the only one that likes to join but don’t have the money to join..
Total Country says:
It is a choice, I love the fc sites that are private and the gifts I receive, could not even go to walmarts and buy that cheap. I do think it is awful that US printed a personal blog and cmt should not have double the stealing of that. 2cents, stay where you are, that is what it is worth, lol
Tiffany13 says:
It makes me mad when i see her blogs from the fan club on other sites, as a fan member! Those are blogs for the fan club members, not for every fan out there..Idk…
DIANA says:
-I wish that non-Carrie fans would stay off her website and shut up. She is an amazing singer and cannot wait to hear her sing in Blue Cross Arena in rochester, NY. At least she can sing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bella says:
RESPECT EACH OTHER DOESNT THIS STAND FOR ANYTHING ANYMORE?
carrie and taylor respect each other, why cant their fans?
i dont know who started this whole carrie vs. taylor B.S. but its really stupid and childish and its pathetic that in the “blog world” people fight about this…”nonsense!”…
i think we can all agree that carrie and taylor BOTH have successfull solid careers ahead of them and they have impressive accomplishments, they work hard and they are great role models. if anything i would think the women in country are rooting for each other since this industry is male dominating, “girls stick together”, i have heard carrie say this many many times…the fact is their here to stay their friends with each other and both girls have praised each other,i have never heard either one of them say anything negative toward each other, if only their fans can learn a thing or two from them!..their nice girls..so why do people feel like they need to bash either one??
im not a fan of taylor she does nothing for me, but that doesnt mean just because she doesnt inspire me she cant inspire someone else…she may not give me gossebumps or bless me thru her music but that doesnt mean she’s not talented, their is someone for everyone. carrie is my idol and she blesses me thru her music and her voice is so amazing and for me i feel really lucky that i can listen to her music and feel blessed..because she inspires me and i admire her as an artist and as a person, carrie may not inspire everyone and thats okay were all different people!!…. im grateful for carrie/taylor/miranda/shania/faith/martina/…and anyone who can sing and do what they do and bless people whether your a fan or not these people have skills ans gifts they share with everyone so we can be inspired, the least we can do is at least respect them for their uniqueness, styles, and talent!!….”STOP THE HATING AND THE WHO BETTER BULL—-!!”…ITS STUPID!!
bella says:
i screwed up on the spelling oops!, i meant to say:
”STOP THE HATING AND THE WHO’S BETTER THEN WHO BULL—-!!”…ITS STUPID!!
“PEACE”
mand14 says:
finally someone else agrees! thank you bella. that really needed to be said, but of course people are probably still gonna be childish about it.
friendly poster says:
it’s not a battle. it’s very simple. Carrie can sing, and taylor can’t and taylor is stealing awards that others are more deserving of. no wonder there is a war
John says:
friendly poster…did you read the comments before yours? No one is stealing anything. Some people love Taylor and some people love Carrie and some people like me love both. There is no war just some people acting childish, grow up!
Veeta. says:
Wow…so she makes her fans pay to read her thoughts/ramblings? No comments.
All I’m gonna say is that I’m glad to be a T-Swift fan…we get to read her thoughts/ramblings for free :)
:) says:
Like they says.. since TS fans are kids and Carrie fans are adults…
thus it make sense TS ramblings are free…
barb b says:
twocents than go read it for free
why are you here complaining
Lisa says:
I like Carrie but some of her biggest fans do way too much bashing of other artists to tolerate her fan club. I can’t stand the bashing they do on the free sites and I’m not going to pay for it. Sorry.
Veeta. says:
All these Carrie Underwood fans cannot be over the age of 18. No way, they must be children. Especially the ones who live to bash Taylor. I can’t imagine an adult talking trash about a young singer like Taylor. You are more immature than the so-called “tweens” who are Swift fans. Grow up or continue sulking and acting immaturely as Taylor continues her reign at the top. Haha.
Wanda says:
Veeta i am 46 i do not bas ts or anyone else but i dont like carrie but here you are on her blog talking about ts take your own advice grow up and stay off her blogs that what you tell cu fans
Wanda says:
I meant you dont like carrie instead od i i am a huge fan of carries
friendly poster says:
wanda, velvetta is just jealous that Carrie can actually SING.
Di says:
People, what is the problem here. TS appeals to a younger teen crowd much like brittany spears. Carrie Underwood appeals to anyone who has a heart that beats!!!
Her singing ability is effortless. Her beauty god sent. All I know is whenever I see a picture of her, I have to still my heart.
I hope someday to meet her in person although I am not certain my heart could take it. God Bless Carrie. ur an angel from god. Tour On!!!
