Vince Gill's Love Songs Make Any Woman Melt
Of all the love songs that exist today, the one that never fails to make me weak in the knees is Vince Gill's "Whenever You Come Around." His enchanting voice on those tender, affectionate words is enough to make any woman melt. Finally, he will release an album solely dedicated to these charming tunes. Due on Jan. 26, Love Songs is a seamless collection spanning more than a decade of his career, including "One," "That Friend of Mine," "You and You Alone," "Faint of Heart," "Luckiest Guy in the World," and to my utter delight, three of my personal favorites.
"Whenever You Come Around" -- He once said onstage that he wrote this song about Amy Grant before they were married. The way he effortlessly zones in on that sensation he feels when she is near is remarkable. Her smile alone turns his world upside down.
"Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye" -- Gill reminds us that we never know what's in store for tomorrow. So, be sure you tell those you love, "I love you," and of course, make sure to kiss goodbye.
"When Love Finds You" -- He's right. Love sure is something. Though the feeling seems indescribable, he gently breaks down the emotions. And after hearing him belt this one, who isn't in love by the end of the song?
