Tim McGraw Scores a Ten @ Ten With Jay Leno
Add Tim McGraw to the growing list of country stars signing up to be peppered with questions from Jay Leno. It is quickly becoming my favorite part of The Jay Leno Show, in fact, because the questions seem to be so random and in no particular order, so it's a little more unsettling than a regular sit-down, one-on-one interview. And that keeps things very, very interesting. Like on this one, from earlier this week, which McGraw did from a studio in Nashville. Right out of the gate, Leno hits him with a sports question: What's his favorite event to watch in the Winter Olympics? Figure skating, McGraw says. "I mean, I got a house full of women, so I like to watch the figure skating. Men's and women's. But the men's, it gets a little iffy with the tights, you know?"
Then Leno brings up that houseful of women and wants to know what Faith Hill does that drives him crazy. He responds that because he's such a slob, she picks up after him and then he can't find anything. If that's his biggest problem with his wife, I think they're going to be all right.
Then Leno gets into the fun stuff. Worst job? "Picking tomatoes in Louisiana when I was a teenager. That lasted for about three hours, and as soon as lunchtime rolled around, I high-tailed it out of there." What's on your iPod that would surprise us? "I don't know if it's very surprising, but Neil Diamond. I love Neil Diamond." Worst date? "I was invited to a high school dance at this Catholic school in Monroe, La., where I grew up by this girl. And we got in the dance and she had to go to the bathroom and I never saw her again." (She'd left with another guy, McGraw adds, so he threw a tire tool at the guy's car and put it through the door of his car.) Favorite movie? Forrest Gump.
While there are too many Q's and A's to list here, my very favorite is when McGraw sings and hums TV theme songs at the end: Gilligan's Island, Bonanza, M*A*S*H*, Happy Days and The Jeffersons. All the classics.

I really enjoyed this interview and you are so right about their marriage,if that is the one thing that bothers them both,they are in it for a very long haul. I do see them still together being grandparents.she said when they got married,”this is it,nothing or nobody is coming between us”we are in it for the loooooong haul

Drew Brees was the BEST Ten at Ten guest since Jay started this segment. Tim Mcgraw wished his was half the man Drew Brees is. Tim is just an ordinary BORE!

Taylor Swifts’s was the most revealing. We now know she has hung out in men’s bathrooms, and was allowed to play at a rock fest at the ripe age of 12 with drunks yelling at her.

hey don’t be bashing Taylor! me and my girlfriends just started hanging out in mens bathrooms too. Taylor is a good role model leave her alone. We hope we can start going to rock fest too in the summer when school is out. We might or might not drink too. If we can find someone to buy.

I’m not a basher, and I think that in general Taylor Swift IS a good role model for young women. That said, however, Tina’s decision to start hanging out in men’s bathrooms and drinking at rock festivals “if we can find someone to buy” is appalling to me. Tina, I’d sure like to see you follow Taylor in some of her loftier goals.

Hi Tina!!!! omg!!! me and my friends have been doing the same thing! One of my friends Kelly lives by the airport, and we go down there and go in the mens bathroom. sometimes it stinks in there too, but we laugh at these old dudes in there, and then we run out laughing!!!! It’s soooooooo funny!!!! Sometimes we hide in the stalls:):):):)…

melanie,who in the hell is drew bree? so ,maybe Tim is boring to you,big deal,at least he has millions of fans who really adore him even when he might be a little boring,and Tim Mcgraw is never boring!!!!
