Shania Twain's Face Is Scientifically Pretty Perfect
A recent study has shown that Shania Twain is pretty. But not just pretty pretty. But pretty in a very official and scientifically quantifiable way. The researchers at the University of Toronto have worked out the dimensions of the most attractive female face, like the distance between your eyes, mouth and ears -- and Shania Twain fits the bill. So how did they come to this epiphany? They showed pictures of a woman to various people and asked them to rate her attractiveness although they had altered the measurements a bit. So in order to be Twain-pretty, the distance between your eyes and mouth should be just over 36 percent of the overall length of your face. The space between your pupils should be just under 46 percent of the width of your face. And if you don't measure up? Researchers suggest using hairstyles to create an optical illusion. Then again, they're scientists, not stylists.

OK, really? I’m a huge Taylor fan, but why does that matter in this article? Now I just had to sift through a bunch of Taylor-bashing posts. I don’t think anyone is comparing them in any way, though Taylor has cited Shania as one her main influences. I personally can’t wait till she comes out with another album.
But back to theactual article here, I think this is a kind of amusing piece to write, and I doubt anyone would deny that Shania is beautiful, but it’s funny the things scientists are devoting their time on when there is a war going on and poverty in the streets and children who go to bed hungry. Scientists should be working on that, not telling women how to make themselves look scientifically pretty.
