Gary Allan Says Honesty Is the Best Policy
When Gary Allan needed a video for "Today," he chose to use a live performance from his Get Off on the Pain tour. What's interesting is that it seems like Allan also opted to use the actual audio from the show and not just the video. Sometimes you will see a live video while hearing the studio produced version of the song, but Allan makes sure you get the true concert experience. In fact, in a recent interview backstage at the Ryman Auditorium, he told reporters, "I think that what I'm good at, is making sure it's honest. If it's dishonest, it's very transparent."

I wish he was the face of country music. He has been around so long, has great songs, signature voice. Yet he is never mentioned with Kenny, Dierks or any of the big stars. He can out sing all of them, he is great guitar player. He lived the songs he has sung. I am so glad he has not been dropped by a label, yet I wish radio would see he can be the face of country music. He had a chance to start recording when he was 14, yet turned it down. Lets all support him, tell radio to play him more.

Just saw him play the Depot in SLC. AMAZING. I have seen everyshow that has come through and he just gets better and better. I agree.. Gary needs more props. Hope to see him get more recognition in the coming year. Amazing song writer, plays guitar like a bad ass and out sings many… Gary you rock!

I love this song, but I wish he would have made a better video for it. This video won’t do much to get him the attention he deserves.

He needs better publicity or something to get his music out
there! I love the song Today, but I think he could have
made a better video like he did for Learning How to Bend!
