Nicole Kidman Cannot Say Enough Nice Things About Taylor Swift
What does Nicole Kidman think of Taylor Swift? She's downright gushing about country's teen queen in a recent interview with MTV. She thinks that Swift deserves all the praise -- and the CMA entertainer of the year award -- that have come her way lately. "She is a delight," Kidman raved. "And she so deserves what's happening to her because, having met her and seeing her actually really become a phenomenon over the past couple of years, she really deserves it. She's a honey bun. She's everything that she appears to be." And coming from Kidman, a woman who knows how hard you have to work to prove you are more than just pretty curls and long legs, that is very high praise indeed.

She is a sweet girl and a good role model, but that doesn’t mean that she can sing. Honestly she only got a record deal because the company looked at her and saw dollar signs and she only won every single stinkin award because of the Kanye West thing and publicity. Everyone who is in the industry KNOWS those awards are not based on talent… because if they were, she would lose. Taylor, until you can sing live like you do on your CDs, don’t front.

Here’s what people are saying on my radio. Nobody ever mention her vocal ability!! Tay is such an inspiration: she made little girls want to write songs, learn to play guitar and if Taylor can do it at 15, so can they.

To those who say she can sing, play your replay of the opening of the AMAs, but don’t watch…just listen. haha right on!! It amazes me how the SAME people bother to leave hate comments on these blogs like Taylor is actually going to read them or something. Taylor said she doesn’t read comments to or about her on blogs, unless it’s her myspace, Facebook, or Twitter. I don’t blame her. Heck, her life is far more exciting and SUCCESSFUL then to worry about what haters are saying about her. She has millions of fans around the world that DO love her, and she knows it. People are just wasting their time writing hate comments.

I’m thinking that her fans love her because if someone tone-deaf and flat can have a career like this, there is hope for all of us. I like Taylor for her sweetness and natural appeal; she is very sweet and nice and sober, and those are all good things - however, if an artist is being judged on vocal ability - and that is what a Vocalist of the Year award should be - then she doesn’t deserve it, and never will. If you truly listen to her, and I mean listen, what you hear is a thin whiny little voice without much expression, and problems keeping on key. People who tell her she is a good singer are enabling her, as are her fans.
