Lorrie Morgan Keeps Patsy Cline on Her Mind
The holidays always seem like a time for familiar things, but those things don't always have to be cheery. How about Patsy Cline's classic "Leavin' on Your Mind"? Sure, it's a heartbreaker, but it always reminds me of home. Or at least, packing up to leave after the season is over. (Sorry, mom.) Maybe I figure that by remembering that before I get there, I'll be sure to appreciate the time more. It takes a few minutes to get into Lorrie Morgan's version of the song, since this is also a behind-the-scenes clip, but the payoff is worth it. When Morgan tenderly offers her first line, you'll feel it hit you in the chest.

Wasn’t this song on the chart’s when Patsy died in the plane crash?

Lorrie Morgan has lost her voice unfortunately. She was good in the 1990s but her voice is gone.
Redmaz says:
Actually for me the in studio discussion and banter was much more interesting than Morgan’s lackluster performance. A glimpse of Hall of Famer Harold Bradley(one of Cline’s original studio musicians). The discussion of the 6b to the modulation, and the guitar player’s Hendrix improv.
Mitchell says:
The entire album is great. It’s my favorite of Lorrie’s records.
Lynn says:
I agree with Mitchell the entire album is amazing. I’ve been a Lorrie fan for 20 years and I think that she sounds better now than she ever has. I am so glad that Lorrie is continuing to make the music that she loves and sharing it with her fans.
