New Music Videos: Joe Nichols Chases the Girl, Jimmy Wayne Revisits Hall & Oates
Joe Nichols, Jimmy Wayne and Gloriana lead the way in new videos that were screened by the CMT New Music Video Evaluation Team. Nichols goes for a good-time song. Wayne resurrects the old Hall & Oates 1976 pop hit, "Sara Smile." Gloriana get in the Christmas spirit with "Silent Night." And Blackberry Smoke dig into a guitar-laden rocker.

BLACKBERRY SMOKE have been such an under-rated band for so many years that I’m happy to see them getting the press that they deserve to go along with the top-niotch reviews. This song is a great “slide in to it” opening track and a great choice for a single. This band CAN do it all and they really shine on stage as a unit. Their songs can move even the most casual listener with their musical groove and depth of lyric. Get your “Smoke” on!!

Ever been to a concert and the music sounds exactly like the CD? That’s when you know they got it right! BBS is awesome and a hidden sleeper which is now starting to show to those who have never even heard of them. For all of us who believe in them before, enjoy their rise to fame. What I like most about them is they are “humble” and just good folks. You just dont get that any more.

BBS is the BEST band to come along in over a decade. First saw them years back opening for The Outlaws…….they blew them off the stage. We have been addicted since. Have follwed them to Laconia, NH, Morgantown, WV, and most recently Harrisonburg, VA where they kicked our ass for 2 hours in a small venue. First time I saw these guys, they played to a bar in Colorado in front of maybe 30 people. You would have thought there were 3000 there- because every time they play, they play for broke.
