Jason Aldean Can't Handle "The Truth"

Posted: November 12th, 2009 at 5:24 pm  |  By: Chris Parton

The main character in Jason Aldean's new single, "The Truth," is definitely going through some internal battles and this video skillfully puts a face on his pain. He's so distraught from a breakup that he can't stand to look at strangers, especially since all of them seem to be happy. But worst of all, in his mind, is facing his friends again. Aldean drifts through his new life distant and preoccupied and eventually ends up alone in a storm doing nothing to shelter himself -- an interesting metaphor for "the truth" of his situation.
