Country-Lovin' Soccer Moms Get a New Minivan
Soccer moms who drive our kids around in our minivans all day listening to country music -- we are such clichés, right? But we do pretty much define the country demographic, so poke fun at us all you want because we are not going away. In fact, Chrysler has made a minivan just for people like us who have CDs but sometimes lose them or scratch them or spill lattes on them. I bought a Town & Country this weekend, and it comes equipped with all kinds of cool features, but none of them even compare to the high-tech ability to load 6,700 songs onto the van's 30 GB hard drive. The same way you would import songs from a CD onto your computer's music library, you can do that in this car. And Garth Brooks, with his attitude that albums were meant to be listened to in their entirety, would love this system because it gives you no choice but to import the whole track list. If you're looking for a new car, this one literally rocks.

Sounds like a good feature. I know soccer moms get a bad rap, but I don’t think there so bad. Some soccer moms are even milfs.
Always Right says:
I think the type of music soccer moms listen to is “Southern Suburban Pop.” Definitely not country.
merlefan49 says:
That would be neat. Then I could load it with
Hank SR
Lefty Frizzell
Merle Haggard
Johnny Cash
The Carter Family
Hayes Carll
Dale Watson
Wayne Hancock
Miss Leslie
and the list would go on
Sunny Sweeney
Chelsea says:
This fabulous soccer mom listens to ROCK!

Am I the only one who’s wondering if this blog entry is part of some advertising package that Chrysler has paid for?
hotelmotel says:
Perhaps Alison got a small discount on the car in exchange for this post.
hotelmotel says:
I’d add that recent blogs have also featured prominently : Libbys, Sunny Delight, a company selling picture frames, and surely some I’ve forgotten. But, including Chrysler, thats 4. I like the blog but I do think the posts that read like possible ads or even that read like advertising copy should be kept to a minimum.
Maybe there is no advertisment going on, but its hard to tell for sure; the very fact that its hard to tell does take away some credibility.
Cheapmotel says:
hotel, after your milf comment you have no credibility whatsoever.
hotelmotel says:
Cheapmotel; Why do you say I have no credibility because I said some soccer mom’s are milfs? Do you think there are no milfs who are soccer moms?
I just felt the need to defend the soccer moms on here. They get a bad rap sometimes from the drunken honkytonk denizens.
Anyway, I do like your screenname.

Why did they delete Swilly’s post? It was good.
