Faith Hill on Exercise and Decorating

Posted: November 4th, 2009 at 12:17 pm  |  By: Alison Bonaguro

Faith HillWhen Faith Hill was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday (Nov. 2), I knew she'd probably talk about her new parfum. But what I didn't know is that she would also be giving away her secrets for staying in such fabulous shape. And they are: cardio, elliptical, Pilates, old-fashioned lunges, chasing after three kids and picking up Tim McGraw's laundry. Well, technically, she didn't call that last one exercise. But she did say that in the new home they just built, she tried to make it easier for her hubby to actually put his own laundry in the hamper but that it hasn't really worked out quite the way she wanted. "One thing I did try to do was put the hamper in his closet, a little closer to where he might actually hit it occasionally," she said. So I guess that means that even after selling 40 million albums, McGraw is just another mere mortal who leaves dirty socks on the floor.

Most women and men know that exercise and eating healthy foods keeps you in shape. I don’t think Faith introduced this concept to people. I am also quite sure her girls are old enough that she doesn’t have to chase them around. They are not toddlers anymore. My wife and I have 4 children under 11. My wife decorated our brand new home also. This blog is so lame.

If this blog is so lame, what does that say you, jimbo? Nothing better to do with you time than be rude behind the safety of your computer?

Honestly who cares what these washed up stars do with their lives.

I agree Katharine. Faith is washed up. Time to move on to the popular stars, like Carrie and Taylor. Please, less Faith Hill, more of stars who actually have hits in 2009, not 1999!

SORRY- Faith is not washed up! She is a awesome artist, singer and performer. TROLLS lurk everywhere!

I do agree that at her childrens ages, your not chasing them around.

But her exercises that she does along with eating healthy makes her look really good.

Faith is not washed up. She is one of the greatest performers & artist around.
Just because you don’t like her you don’t need to say she is washed up.

It is very sad what the world has come to today, being rude and saying mean things just because you can type, there is a saying my parents always taught me, If you can’t say something nice about someone don’t say anything at all!” So if you don’t like
Faith stay off here and let those of us that do say the nice things about her that we would like and not have to notice your rude and negative attitudes! Faith your the best, keep it up!!

Faith is a nice person. But, who cares about what she thinks of exercising? Don’t you people have something better to read about? Alison, don’t you have something better to post? How about more problems with obtaining Garth Brooks tickets? So lame.

Anybody hear Gary Bennett (former of Br5-49)’s solo record a few years ago? That’s country music worth writing about.

Faith had a #1 hit last year, a hit Christmas album, and has a new album expected to hit next year…yeah, she’s really washed up isn’t she…

well I guess you naysayers have nothing better to do with your time, but put down the greatest singer there is. I have 3 daughters and they can keep you pretty busy, maybe not always running, but I do know Faith and Tim’s youngest one is almost 8 and probably does still keep her Mom on her toes especially with all the room they have. now they live in an even bigger house,or should I say mansion. Tim’s MOm says it looks like Europe. I have seen pictures of it.there are some Moms who do a lot of chasing after their kids because they allow them to run everywhere. that is freedom. Faith always says that but the truth is she does all the exercises because it makes her feel better about herself. and she likes looking good for her husband.like any woman does.

hey,if that blog is so lame and Faith is so washed up,then why take the time to respond to it. If Faith is so washed up as you put it,then why is she so popular with her parfum and the SNF theme. she is still very popular and she will never be a hasbeen. there will come a day when Carrie will be there and so will Taylor and I like both of these singers, just like Faith does.

people just say things because they are jealous because they don’t have anyone who is intrested in hearing about their lives. Faith Rocks, and F.Y.I. people her youngest is only 7 so she still has to chase after her and she cares about the well being of her children unlike alot of people.

I think people are just JEALOUS, they wish they had a marriage like Tim & Faiths. People who talk about other people are UNHAPPY with their own lives!! Tim & Faith are wonderful parents and performers with great values!!! Keep up the good work Tim & Faith you guys have nothing on Carrie, I love you!!

hey rosalie this is why faith lost her popularity.#1 she made the mistake of doing the “what” on the awards and her you are putting carrie down. I loved faith but after seeing that on the awards I lost all the respect for her. plus I didn’t like the way she changed her music. so go ahead and put carrie down. we all know it wasn’t a joke. I think it was very big of carrie to cover for faith. so go ahead shoot your mouth off. fans like you make faith look bad. yes I am a big Carrie fans..Carrie rocks!!!

Faith just like many artists have many dimensione to their lives and their contributions. Faith was asked questions and responded to those questions. Yes she shared what she does to keep fit . . . and healthy. For any parent, guardian, etc. that is involved with their kids lives know how active and demanding their lifestyles can be. Faith and Tim are no different . . . so whether they have toddlers, pre-teens or teenagers and ultimately grandchildren . . . their lives can be exhausting. Kudos to all the parents out there and Faith being a parent is no different. So congratulations parents (including Faith) for taking the time to spend with your kids and their activities. And yes, it is great exercise . . . you should try it sometime and you will see for those that commented that is isn’t.

there is so misformation in these blogs that it is hard to know where to start replying. faith is a talented singer, working mother and a nice person that has never did anything to anybody, the what comment for your information has already been proven to be nothing more than a joke! why trash a person and say they do not deserve to be in the music anymore, before long swift and underwood will be one of the older ones, it all comes around.

Faith has always led me to believe she was fake. It’s her personality and her thinking she should still win every award she’s up for. Now the tables have turned and she’s not hot like she once was. What goes around comes around.

    HOW SICK IS THIS?

FAITH IS THE GREATEST SINGER AROUND, AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN COUNTRY MUSIC! CARRIE DOESN’T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST HER! NO COMPETITON FOR FAITH AT ALL!
I LIKE TAYLOR, BUT CAN’ STAND THE FAKE CARRIE UNDERWOOD!

    FAITH FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Helga, Carrie stood against Faith Hill and won..many times…
It’s Faith who doesn’t have a chance against Carrie. They don’t call her Fake Hill for nothing…LOL!!

The bickering in this post is outrageous. Alison posted this article to inform people (I think) to let Faith fans know an interesting article about Faith.

Why is Carrie in this subject at all?

Carrie is young and when she has her family, hopefully she will raise her family & put her career on the back burner like Faith is. I don’t think Carrie would like you even talking like this. Grow up people.

Faith Hill is one of the best artists/performers out there.

There must be a lot of insecurity of the people that trash others.

You’ve got it Katie . . . I agree! Something that is way beyond me must motivate some of the people that communicate on some of these blogs. It’s actually sad . . . I often wonder what a real face-to-face conversation with them must be like. Hopefully it’s not the same!

Why is it that every time a story about Faith is on here so many of you need to make it a Faith vs Carrie thing. I personally do not like Carrie’s singing, but I don’t go on every Carrie story and trash her. I commend Faith for making her family her number one priority and can’t wait for her new music when she is ready.
