Carrie Underwood Is Ready for Paradise

Posted: November 4th, 2009 at 4:42 pm  |  By: Alison Bonaguro

Carrie UnderwoodCarrie Underwood is performing a free concert on Dec. 5, but there are a couple of catches. One, you have to be a guest at the Atlantis, a resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas. And two, you still need a lot of money. Rooms for that weekend start at $246 a night, but then skyrocket up to the four-digit prices for the really nice luxury suites. That said, if you've been looking for a tropical vacation and some good country music, you'd probably have the time of your life. And like I said yesterday, I think Underwood herself could use some R&R after the November she's having. So who knows? Maybe you'll see her on the beach, scuba diving or plummeting down the 60-foot Leap of Faith water slide.

“some good country music” is a matter of opinion.

Go to google and look up reviews on Carries new cd and you will find a lot more bad reviews than good. Most reviewers only gave it one or two stars. Why would Carrie need a vacation she didn’t do anything all year? She flew in some pop rock writers that just cost her a few bucks no skin of her nose.

Good reviews or not the album is climbing up the charts; we fans are supporting her so it does not matter. Some artists had good reviews but barely sells nor make the charts. Some reviewers have their own opinions but we love the album. Go Carrie go.

I’ve been to the Bahamas before (Nassau, which is right next to Paradise Island) & it’s gorgeous! Anyone that goes will have a great time! My local country station is also giving away a trip there but you have to be 21 with a passport.
    Carrie’s CD is awesome!

    Steven
..I agree it is a matter of opinion
    Tommy
..please look at my response to Steven.. last time I looked reviewers express opinions… just theirs..and there is a good review for every ‘bad’ review

..try to tame that green monster in you it is really not an attractive feature

FYI: Play On is #1 on all genre and country chart on itunes and has been since Nov.3.

The latest information is that Play ON is set to debut at #1 on Billboard’s all genre and country chart

Oh and it’s #1 in the country genre, in a number of countries outside the US and that’s without any promo.

we (FANS) are “the critics” and we decide if its great or not..we decided that for “some hearts” and “carnival ride”…AND WE WILL DECIDE THAT AGAIN FOR “PLAY ON”.. watch the charts blow up and watch her break records..when that happens, the the critics have spoken !!

i am in love with this album..it has been worth the wait..she continues to move me and her fans, her voice is very very beautifull, and her voice just gets better and better everytime she sings, not only has she grown vocally but she is more comfortable in her skin and as an artist and person it shows. its a very more intimate raw carrie with a lot of emotion..”wow”…i am blown away :)

    this critic, has spoken !!

Hey Carrie fans, stop freaking out because CC is about to peak at #2 and not make it to #1, it’s getting annoying.
