Carrie Underwood Plays On … and On … and On
Nobody has proclaimed it Carrie Underwood month in any official capacity. But when you look at her schedule, it's very clear that she owns November. There was her performance (in a gray dress and purple tights!) on Good Morning America this morning (Nov. 3) to celebrate the release of Play On, and on Thursday (Nov. 5) she'll be hanging on Live! With Regis & Kelly. She does Good Morning America again from Nashville on Nov. 11 -- the morning of the CMA Awards. Then oh yeah, she's hosting that ceremony on Nov. 11. The night after that, an A&E: Biography of her life will air. After that, it's The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien on Nov. 16, The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Nov. 18, Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Nov. 19 and a performance on the American Music Awards on Nov. 22. And then? God willing, she will get some much needed R&R after the whirlwind that comes with promoting what I'm sure will be another multi-platinum album.

Carrie put out another huge winner in Play On. It is an awesome CD, probably the best of the 3 and Quitter is fastly becoming my favorite song. A sure #1 for her. I hope you read this Carrie. Please release Quitter as a single. Great instrumentation on this song. Your country fans will love you if you do. I was disapointed when Get out of this town from carnival ride was not released.

She also will be seen 12/1 on Invitation Only, and 12/7 for a 2 hour special on fox, I get tired just reading her schedule.
Nove 10th she is on In The Spot Light with Robin Williams, 10pm-11pm et. 11/14/09 Opry, really don’t know how anyone could keep up that schedule. She was great on Letterman and this morning on GMA. Agree Alison, she needs some R&R and I do too, just reading all that makes me tired, but I will watching it all.
Cowgirl Up says:
Can’t wait! I love her new album especially Undo It and Mama’s song.
Avery says:
I will definitely be watching all her performances. Carrie is great and so is her new album Play On! I can’t stop listening to it. So many new great songs!!!
Sherry says:
I love, love, love it!!! I am recording each performance so I can grab my popcorn and watch them all. I bought my CD yesterday and WOW here comes another slew of #1’s! I wish her continued success and for her to keep her grounded attitude. I really missed her when she took her time off, but obviously it was time well spent. Congratuations Carrie.
Robin says:
She doesn’t need any more R&R. She’s been on the “dowh low” long enough. This next year is going to be much more Carrie Underwood.
The best song on “Play On” is the best song of her career - “What Can I Say” and the Sons of Sylvia are awesome. Her vocals show more depth and range than ever. Her subtlety is beautiful and the emotion makes me hit the re-play button way too many times.
This is definitely a huge growth CD for her vocally and in her writing. No matter how many times people will try to say it (I’m sure they will), she does not “over sing” not one song.

i love her new album, “temporary home”, “what can i say”, “unapologize”, “someday i’ll stop loving you”, “undo it”,”look at me”..and “change”…
she has really wonderful songs!i feel truely blessed with her album and i enjoy every single song!! this is a different album then “some hearts” and “carnival ride”..i can hear more emotion in carrie’s voice she has more ballads but she still has the rockish and sassy songs too she is very versatile and she continues to captivate me and inspire me thru her music. i love the fact that she wrote about 7 songs on this album, to me i feel like its a more intimate carrie we are getting and we are able to know whats in her heart, her cares and hopes…and im very proud of her for allowing herself to grow and she continues to challenge herself which is great she isnt afraid to fail..failure doesnt exist in carrie vocabulary..i am very pleased with “play on” and the long wait and anticipation was very well worth it. i dont care what any critic says about her new released album, to me they are just critics and their opinions doesnt matter because at the end of the day its about carrie and her undeniably faithful loyal fans, carrie makes music for the joy of singing and for her fans…shes excited about it and were excited about it….then i say “mission accomplished”…:)…”YOU GO CARRIE”…

She also has a 2 hour special on the fox channel in early December thats going to be out of this world. Her guests will be Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Bo Bice, David Cook and a couple of comediennes. Its going to be music and comedy skits. Insiders say she has great comedic timing and they were shocked how good she was. She does a lot of singing and a duets with Dolly Parton on I Will Always Love You and duets with David Cook, a rocker and previous Idol winner. She has performed live with him before and their voices together are magic. Its going to be great tv!
Wendy O says:
I don’t know what’s worse, her boring personality or her screaming.
Big Mike says:
This is what you Underwood fans have been waiting for? Another overproduced Pop album? I could barely get through the 30 second sound clips without making it stop. Absolutely no feeling or groove whatsoever, just a pieced together Pop album. Next!!!
julie says:
Oh Mike you`re whining!!!! She so popular and we love her music and you can`t stop it. You go ahead and listen to your so called country music; we`re not stopping you and let us enjoy ours. You cant stand it that she`s so famous these days so just go your own way.
