Brad Paisley Keeps Saying No to Playgirl
Sorry, ladies. Brad Paisley called into a Grand Rapids, Mich., radio station and gave them a big fat "no." They had asked him what he was going to tell Playgirl magazine. "I've actually turned that down," he said. "They've asked a few times, and no. They can forget it. They ask everybody. They ask every male country singer. Trust me. No. No way. Not in a million years. That's ridiculous. That's just not what I'm about." He also says there are probably fantastic articles in the magazine that has run pictures of Keith Urban and Billy Currington in the past. Why is he so determined to keep all his clothes on? "I've got a lot of fans that are teenage girls here and there, and I don't want them buying that magazine just because I'm in it," he said.

Travis says:
What a bum! The least he could do is go shirtless…
countryiscool says:
Way to go Brad, a family guy with scruples!!!! If you’ve heard his song, “I’m just a guy,” you could tell he’s not one to do something like pose for a Playboy mag. Maybe he doesn’t think of himself (or want to) as Beefcake.
Michelle R. says:
Good for Brad! Just because so many other celebs post for those types of magazines, doesnt mean Brad has to give in to the pressure. I think he made a good choice.
lee says:
Wait what travis???
I remember a few months ago playboy asked carrie underwood to be in it.
hotelmotel says:
He’s probably just afraid he doesn’t measure up. What a prude.
MEL says:
HotelMotel have you seen Brad’s Guns even in 2002 he still had big guns when he went sleveless…. im a teenager i would like to see him shirtless but thats it i wouldn’t buy the mag if he was in it even though i am a huge fan… i think he made the right choice
AJfanBecky says:
wait to go Brad. Keep standing up for your values.
countryiscool says:
hm, if stripping for a rag mag is your idea of what it
takes for a person to have value, that’s not a good thing.
I commend Brad for his choice. It has nothing to do with “measuring up.” He has nothing to prove, and it should have more to do with talent than outward appearance anyway.
lee says:
Countryiscool what do you mean it as more to do with talent then outward appearance? Have you seen some of the other music types singers? I ain’t just talking about yrs ago to of today? They ain’t the best but they are up there on the charts.
countryiscool says:
I’m saying “measuring up” should have to do more with the PERSON and TALENT, not value placed on whether they’re willing to strip for a rag mag.
itchycorn says:
Posing for any of those type of magazines never advances a career, it just stirs up a bit of internet news for about three to five days. Brad has way too much talent to do this.
D says:
I agree with Hotel Motel
Uncle Leo says:
I’ve seen his we knee. It’s small. That’s why he said no.
hotelmotel says:
Well, there you go. Anyway, despite my joking around a bit, I do think Paisley is making a good decision not to be in the magazine.
timcun says:
Keith Urban posed for Playgirl a long time ago and said he regretted it. He even had a guitar (I think that’s what it was) covering the “good” parts so really didn’t show anything.
Carol says:
Thank goodness you said “no”Brad. Can’t say I would mind taking a look , if someone else bought the magazine of course and showed it to me, but honestly, thank you for keeping your standards and caring about something, like your morals and your family, besides the “bottom” dollar. Pardon the pun!!!
