Miley Cyrus on Twitter and Taylor Swift
Miley Cyrus was in a radio station this week and finally gave listeners her point of view on all the issues. The super-important ones, like why, oh, why she stopped Twittering and her so totally inappropriate pole dance at the Teen Choice Awards. And, of course, her take on Taylor Swift's MTV Video Music Awards thing. As for Twitter, Cyrus said, "I was kind of just like over tweeting about what I was doing instead of actually doing it. I complained that I wanted my private life more private, but I'm the one who is giving the world access to it." Amen to that. And as for the stripper dance, she defended that by saying, "If I stood up there and just sat by a microphone and there was nothing going on, it would just be like boring to me." Not so sure I agree with her on that one. As for that Taylor vs. Kanye moment, "What he did was for press, so if you give him the press, then it's just giving him the satisfaction of what he did," Cyrus said. Ah, yes. The whole publicity-stunt angle. But if that's the case and the old adage that any press is good press holds true, then the whole world would be loving Kanye West right now.

This is not really true. Even “bad press” that leads, say, 9 out of 10 people to “hate” Kanye West could be good press if it leads 1 in 1,000 or even 1 in 10,000 Americans to buy a Kanye West album or download a song. Kanye would quite likely deem that “bad press” then to be “good” for his career, and his bank account.

You know to me this is just another interview and I don’t care to mcuh about what she has to say. She has had all of one hit. When she has some more albums or even more songs then I might think about what she has to say. Until then she can talk all she wants but that does not mean I have to read it.

I agree with Miley with that part about twitter. If you were famous like Miley than you would want a more private life too. You already have the news crew(s) following every move you make, why would you want everything you do to be monitered.
And she pole danced, woh! is that much of an issue, it was her choice, and it wasn’t that bad that y’all have to keep going on and on and on about it, saying it was bad she can’t do that, it lasted one second, it wouldn’t have been much of a big deal if people didn’t start talking about it heaps. The news and people made it a big deal.
And Miley is Country and Pop, so why not put her on CMT or CMC.

I’d just like to throw this question at Miley Cyrus: What kind of message does it send to your Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fans when you’re dancing around a pole? I mean, she’s all of what… 16? I just think that’s wrong. She’s a pretty girl-I’ll give her that. I admit that I have watched Hannah Montana. Mostly it was to see what kind of actor her daddy, Billy Ray Cyrus, is. Not bad. Everybody makes mistakes, but these kind of mistakes will haunt her for a long time. I just don’t think she’s realized that yet.
