Top 10 Tracks I'm Digging Right Now
If you listen to music for a living, chances are you will eventually get sick of the music you are listening to over and over. Not me, though. If I'm reviewing an album, a country one anyway, I will dig most of the tracks long after they're considered "new." So this week, my list is made up of the newish tunes I still love and ones I will likely still love years from now.
"Heart Like Mine," Miranda Lambert
"Someone Else Calling You Baby," Luke Bryan
"If You're Tryin' You Ain't," Toby Keith
"The House That Built Me," Miranda Lambert
"I Did It Again," Luke Bryan
"What Country Is," Luke Bryan
"You Can't Read My Mind," Toby Keith
"Me and Your Cigarettes," Miranda Lambert
"Welcome to the Farm," Luke Bryan
"Ballad of Balad," Toby Keith

Every blue moon there comes along a song that is so honest, so powerful that it has the ability to touch something so deep inside, a part of you that is buried so deep you may not even know its there anymore.
I heard a song from Tim McGraw’s new album yesterday called “Love You Goodbye.” Such powerful words, such a powerful interpretation of the song, it left me in tears. It left me thinking about my own relationships past an present.
Radio plays the hits that fly up the charts, hits that hit number one and then are gone. We all know many of them are forgotten six months later and you can barely recall what the song was about or even its name. That is just the way it is.
Some songs though demand so much more from the listeners and even radio, they scream out to be heard. They may even take you out of your comfort zone, make you dig deep to a place you have shut out, forgotten or have never gotten over, even though you pretend you have.
Love You Goodbye is one of them songs, one of them rare songs that makes music so powerful an reminds us why we love music.
I know yesterday they had the complete album on AOL, so do yourself an you soul a favor an listen to this powerful song and be reminded of the power of music.
