Toby Keith Fan Interviews Her Hero
Toby Keith had his official fan club party in Phoenix recently, and thanks to CMT's Toby Keith 2009 Fan Club Party Sweepstakes, one lucky fan got to live out her dream and hang out with the Big Dog Daddy himself. Lori McClarren won a trip to the party, but best of all got to interview Keith exclusively for CMT.com. She says she was a little nervous, but she settled in at one of Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill locations and asked the singer about his first world tour and his favorite thing on the restaurant's menu. Sorry Lori,, but this is what I got out of your interview. An arrogant, self centered, individual that had no respect for you, and acted totally disgusted at you by wasting his time. First of all he didn’t have the courtesy to remove his sunglasses. To top it off, he has the nerve to say none of his songs have ever been played on Pop radio. That’s not true. As a matter of fact, ALL his singles have been played on Pop radio. They certainly haven’t been played on Roots radio. If Keith or anyone else can show me where his music has been played on Roots radio, I’ll retract my statement.

It is a wonderful interview. Toby was gracious and helped to make Lori feel comfortable. Lori, do not even bother with redmaz’s pompous a** comment. Toby has not crossed over to pop. His songs are played on country radio stations. It is his perogative if he wants to wear sunglasses. With the lights and everyone flashing cameras at him, I would keep mine on too.
