Recalling Kanye West's History With Country Music

Posted: September 18th, 2009 at 6:10 pm  |  By: Calvin Gilbert

Yeah, yeah. I know. ... Irate readers have complained that CMT.com has written far too much about the Taylor Swift/Kanye West incident at the MTV Video Music Awards. But when CMT Insider put together a brief video history of West's past slams and slights against country music -- Gretchen Wilson and Vince Gill, in particular -- it was hard to resist sharing it. So if you're truly sick of all the Taylor/Kanye coverage, don't even think about watching this video. It will just make you angry at Kanye -- or us. So just ignore it. Otherwise, here you go ...

Way to twist it cmt. West never expressed his frustration of Taylor’s female video of the year win. West expressed that in his opinion Beyonce had the best video of the year. Was it rude on how and where he expressed his opinion about Beyonce’s video? Yes, but that’s it. If what you say is true, he would have had to say something directly to Taylor that she did not deserve to win that award. He never said that. I’m not defending his actions in any way, but your report is misleading, and quite frankly wrong.

What if this turns out to be a publicity stunt. Will there be back-lash then. Taylor gets away with everything else she has done. I guess this will be accepted too.

beentheredonethat, do you honestly beleive that Kayne West would let himself be slammed by every news outlet, numerous artists for a week - for a publicity stunt. I swear some of the things people come up with. Kayne has already excepted responsibility for what he did.

Bullride , what do you call jumping on the stage, grabing the mic out of Taylors hand during her acceptance speech, and proclaiming that Beyonce had the best video, and taking her time to finish what she was trying to say. Please!!! How do you figure thats not telling Taylor directly that he didn’t think she deserved that award?

I can’t believe these two comments. Are you two even country music fans??
Bullride- The point is Kanye did what he did because he doesn’t respect country music enough to believe that a country video could beat anything of Beyonce’s. This is evidence of a pattern of this behavior. Why are you taking up for him?
been there done that-Taylor gets away with everything she has done?? What rag are you reading?? I’ve never heard of any Taylor stunts. I’d like to know where you get your info. You can’t just be happy she won the award?? You have to bash her over something Kanye did?
You two are really looking for something to gripe about.

It’s BS that you coud even say it might be a stunt! Did you see the hurt on that childs face??????? Kanye has been doing this long before Taylor hit the music scene at least since 2004 that I know of!!!!!

Kanye’s a jerk - period! I don’t care if he did it because he doesn’t respect country music or he just think he knows everything. Either way, he’s a jerk.

I guess Bullride and Beethereblahblah either didn’t read the warning or else they just can’t get enough Taylor-Kanje news.

  • Bullride says:

    Posted: September 18th, 2009 at 9:11 pm

I stand corrected. West actually said “yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’m going to let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time”. So not only did he not express his frustration with Taylor winning, he actually said he was happy for her. So the CMT Insider report is even more misleading than initially described by me. Like it or not, that’s what he said. I would say this little incident may very well give her a clean sweep at this years CMA awards.

I do agree that Kanye is a very rude and disrespectable person.I am not a Taylor fan,but when I saw on the morning news what had happened I felt so bad for Taylor.I did not watch the mtv awards(not my type of music).I do not care if you are a fan of an srtist,no-one deserves to have their acceptance speech interuped by a rude person.Kanye needs to be banned from every type of awards show.I do not care for mtv music but I do believe everyone has a right to their few minutes to voice their acceptance.I also believe that we all need to move on to other music news and leave this news in the past.Of all the music that is out there for us to hear and watch videos we surely have plenty to talk about. So lets move on.

Kanye is not specifically anti-country music. He just thinks he is the only person who can identify what is good music and what is bad music. And he is kind of a baby about it, too.

Not to mention, no matter how badly you need publicity, making a 19yr old cry and half the world hate me probably isn’t the best way to go about it. Plus his ridiculous previously displayed actions don’t say enough about it? He was flippin drinking right before and after. Hmm…and people never say anything stupid while drinking, do they? Not to mention all the backlash that would ensue if she WAS in on it beforehand.

I have talked to a lot of people who watched the Awards show, and ALL of them say that they were once fans of Kanye’s. He’s made such an ass out of himself so many times that this is just one more up on the board for him. Then to see him on Jay Leno’s show, OMG… The freaking tears. Give me a break dude. You need to just like to away for a while, long while if you ever come back, I don’t think it would be to soon. What you did to Taylor, even if it was anybody else, was just plain ignorant! Nothing but.. Beyonce was such a sweethear to let Taylor give her speech. I don’t know who you think you are but you’re not! And nobody in any kind of music owes you a damn thing dude. You need to get that through your head, NOBODY owes you anything. And that’s that! congratulations Taylor. Oh yeah and after watching the video above, well that just makes me despise you even more Kanye. Sorry dude you brought it all on your self with your big mouth. YOU DO NEED TO BE BANNED FROM ALL AWARD SHOWS…

All in all, Kayne “Jackass” West has no manners and I do hope he falls face down with his actions. He has no talent what so ever and people that listen to Rap garbage that dis-respect women and talk about drugs and killing people should be wiped off the earth anyway. Rap is not music…COUNTRY and Rock is!!!!

The one thing people are missing here is the fact that West is a racist thug,he has proven that on more than one occasion.I’m not a Swift fan but what he did is more than just rude.I would like to see him grab the mic from Rich,Keith,Adkins or McGraw he would get his ass kicked. If West ended up like tupac or biggie smalls it would not be a great loss to humanity.Beyonce showed a lot of class by giving her time to Swift.Enough about this punk there are more important things to worry about in this country.

It is absolutely repulsive what he did and there have been lots of rumors that it is all a stunt, (which really would give both of them a boostz) any publicity is good publicity, he has done worse and come back from it.

I do like how 50 Cent said in a interview if he was at the show he would of went and grab the mike from him and punched him out and let Taylor finish :)

But I do have one thought on this whole claim that Beyonce should have won Female Video, how do you win the biggest award Video of the Year and not beat out the other females, shouldn’t that mean TS’s video should have been in the race for the big one and in turned she would have beat Beyonce again, or Beyonce should have really won the FVOTY, just a thought

I completely disagree with what Kanye did, he was a jerk. what he did was completely wrong, and even though I’m not a swift fan, I still felt bad for her. no one deserves to have their big moment ruined the way Kanye ruined hers. But I think its about time we put this story to rest. Taylor has even said in interviews that she is tired of talking about it. and I agree, its time to move on.

It is quite obvious that Mr. West is not a person of substance and lacks the social skills to congratulate his competitors and work on himself and his music, vs. downing those he feels are not worthy. Remember Sinead O’Connor and her innapropriate comments? She went away like a bad cold. I choose to do my part to keep Kanye from ever reaching an awards stage again - I’ll not buy any of his material.

My opinion on this is that what does kanye have against country music. If he really thought that Beyonce shoulde’ve won then he should’ve voted for her. It’s not Taylors’ fault she won the award and Beyonce didn’t. Kanye should have some respect for Taylor. Afterall, her music is great. Taylor deserved that award from what I think. If he was going to cause a scene on t.v. then he should’ve at least let her shine and just tell her after the awards. Thats imberassing for him to do that because it makes him look bad not her. She was surprised that she won. So I think what Knaye did was uncalled for.

Even Taylor wants everyone to move on.

Five days after the madness went down at the VMAs, people are still talking about Kanyegate … except for Taylor Swift. The country-pop star was making the rounds today doing radio interviews when she encountered a persistent inquisitor on the MJ Morning Show out of Tampa Bay. After three attempts to shut that line of questioning down, Swift grew testy and walked away from the phone. Hear the complete exchange, which starts off cordial enough:

  • Shirley Mason says:

Fearless, Taylor is not even on the same PLANET musically as Beyonce is. Fans voted this, and it was just a video and had nothing to do with real talent. Beyonce is a powerhouse talent, Taylor is like a kid in chorus.

  • Team Taylor says:

    Posted: September 19th, 2009 at 4:38 pm

Shirley Mason, you said yourself Taylor pull PRANKS on other artists. She doesn’t embarrass or disrespect them in front of the whole nation and she also doesn’t do it when they are giving their speech for an award they won. Beyonce has been in this industry way longer than Taylor but I can bet that Taylor will also be here for a while. The award was fan-voted which means the fans liked her video more than Beyonce’s. Had Taylor’s video been nominated for video of the year she might’ve won it too. Bottom line is that Taylor won the award fairly and deserved it for that fact alone. The award was not based on the artist or singing quality but on the video. Taylor’s video is more interesting than Beyonce’s for alot of fans because all Beyonce did was dance in front of a white screen, where as Taylor had an actual storyline.

  • Damo says:

    Posted: September 19th, 2009 at 4:59 pm

I’m not behind Kanye at all on this. I also believe that Taylor’s video really had a great concept. I also listen to country music. My only problem is when ppl say that Kanye doesn’t like country music. I don’t think ppl even know who Kanye West is, there are some ppl labeling him a thug. He’s far from that, Tupac was a thug, Kanye is a nerd who grew up listening to more than just rap music. Trust me on this, that’s why he works with Jon Brion, Coldplay, John Mayer, Spike Jonze, and ppl of that nature. He did something wrong but lets not knock his musical integrity, that’s all he’s got at the end of the day. If you don’t like at least one song from Kanye, your musical opinion pretty much lacks all creditibility to me. I also agree with team Taylor, Swift’s video did have a concept. I think it was the cinematography that got Beyonce the moon man.

Get it right. Saying u hate kanye is ok cause that’s your right. But, hate is a really strong emotion to have against someone u never even met. I hate to say it but many of u seem like racist, stereotypes. “Thug, crackhead?”I was always told that if I don’t like someone, spend more time getting to know them. Open your mind a little bit. I did it with many rock and roll and country music artist, now I am versitle. I like all music and many artist. Kanye is a cool compasionate dude, trust. But, anyhow I am still a fan. I’m quite sure these artist are over it by now. One comment said people were saying Kanye didn’t like country music. He made that VERY plain when Gretchen Wilson won an AMA award and had to apologize to her, then when he beat out Vince Gill he made selfish comments and wasn’t polite to him. I loved Vince’s comeback when he won another award after Kanye and was presented by a former Beatle. “Have you had that happen yet Kanye?” Kanye deserved that! He even said when Gretchen won’ “We need to keep that BS outta here!” I’d say that was against country music! He is a rude, ugly person who doesn’t deserve any accolades no matter what “talent” he is supposed to have! Everyone else is right, I would pay to see someone from country interrupt him on stage. We would NEVER hear the end. It would begin another racial issue that would not go away either. Taylor was SO mature for her young years in how she handled it. SHE was the professional!!! And hats off to Beyonce!

Also, he would have said he didn’t have anything to apologize for since he meant something else but Gretchen said he did apologize to her, so it’s pretty self-explanatory. He has resented country on many different occasions. But that is not as important as his rudeness. It is his choice in what kind of music he likes, but he does NOT have a choice in setting an example of rudeness to his fans and others. He along with other celebrities and politicians who have chosen these rude outbursts lately,
are unfortunately setting bad examples for our kids because they are in the limelight. If adults can be disrespectful how can we expect our kids to choose respect and responsiblity? That is part of our problem with kids and their authority figures today. There is NO excuse for any of it, no matter what the subject is, sports, music, politics, etc. I hope we continue to talk
about these issues as long as it takes so that attitudes might change.

I think the only reason Kanye interrupted Taylor was to see himself on stage. He knew he wouldn’t be up there accepting an award so he had to go up there for some reason. He is very rude. I do think this story needs to be over with. It has been drug on for too long. Beyonce should have been the one getting all the publicity for the classy thing she did, but you don’t see that happening now do you?

kanye’s music is genious. period. his lyrics are amazing. his beats have been used or sampled by nearly every major artist in hip hop today and he has played a hand in the production of nearly every major record in that genre that’s been produced in the last five years. that being said, he was COMPLETELY out of line with what he did and has been in all of the so called stunts that he has pulled. but to say that because of his character flaws, he should be blacklisted from music and no person should ever listen to things he plays a hand in is way to harsh and it would cripple the music industry because of the significant role that hip hop, rap, and kanye play in it. a good analogy would be to say that simply because Fox News thinks that all racism is a huge joke, that no one should ever watch their programs.

I am a HUGE fan of Taylor’s and have been since the beginnig her career.I think her work and talent are AMAZING and she deserved that award. The whole country has been buzzing about this since the second it happend and every one has there opion. Before this happend i had no clue who Kanye West was.I was in shock when it happend wonder if it was fake or real. It’s desreceptful for anyone to interupt someone while they are given a speech especially to the public. With me being a huge Taylor fan that i am i was heartbroken for Taylor and so angry at that Kanye West dude.Still am!!!! But i’ve recently learn that this was NOT the first time he did this to a country music artist.I just watched what he said about Gretchen and after looking at this clip and hearing after Michael Jackson died Kayne wants to take on the tile “KING OF POP” and he even ask MJ’s family if he coul.dthey haven’t responded but this shows me that all this little punk wants his spotlight and he’s going to “TRY” to do whatever it takes to get that success. But little does he kow he’s already messed up his reputation and the world is angry at him and people said within seconds they were never ever going to buy another album so there’s goes his fame outside the window…he better be finding himself a job.His music career is O-V-E-R!!!!

My barroom philosophy has always been, “Go ahead and put your boots on my stage. If nothing bad happens to you then you’ll know you did the right thing.”

You’d think some big awards show could actually prevent such onstage altercations. Yet, here we are. All full of hyperbole and hypotheticals about some “drunk” who should have been bounced before he ever made it to the stage. That’s the part I’m still scratching my head over.

  • Team Taylor says:

    Posted: September 20th, 2009 at 9:59 am

The fact of the matter is that Kanye said Taylor’s video was less deserving than Beyonce. He said that to a 19 yr old girl who is probably one of the sweetest people in the industry. Also Taylor was the first country artist to win. How do we know he wasn’t saying that because Taylor is a country artist there was no way she could have beaten Beyonce who is an R&B artist. One genre is less popular that the other genre when it comes to mainstream music. Does that sound right to you? Lets say he didn’t do it Taylor, all the other nominees beside Beyonce were in pop genre which is quite popular as well. So would he have done that to whoever won had it not been Beyonce? I guess we will never know, I do know that no matter who it was done to it was disrespectful. Not just to Taylor but to everyone who worked on Taylor’s video, her family, and all of her fans.

Kanye is a musical genius, but just because he has a talent does that mean his disrespect should go unpunished? What does that say to all the kids and teenagers who look up to him or listen to his music? Something should be done. Either he is banned from award shows or he takes some serious time off and goes away for a while so that this could blow over.

With that being said. I want to respect Taylor’s wishes by letting this go already. She wants to put it behind her and I say kudos to her. Even if not everyone here likes Taylor as an artist (personally I do), I think we should all be proud of her win as a country artist and the way she handled herself again as a country artist. She is representing country music in an excellent way, especially at the VMAs.

  • T-StillLoveKANYE-T says:

    Posted: September 20th, 2009 at 12:05 pm

    What is wrong with everyone?

First, let’s begin by saying that his name is Kanye, not Kanya…and why do I get the feeling that some of these comments are coming from people who aren’t too fond of the Black community.

What Kanye did was wrong. He could have gone about it in a different way but, unfortunately, that’s the way he chose to do it. Kanye is, and has always been, an outspoken musical genius. He is FAR from a thug. (Maybe more educated then many of you who claimed he’s a crackhead/thug.-Making comments like that automatically throw you in the IGNORANT column.) And when does a person expressing their opinion conclude them as a racist? Why can’t it just be that he felt strongly that his friend and a person he admires should have won the award. Why is it so hard for some of you to just accept that he thought Beyonce’s video was better and more deserving then Taylor Swifts?

I am sure the person would not have mattered. White/Black, Country/R&B…his opinion and, even though he could have expressed it differenty, it is his opinion and he is entitled to it, just like you and I are entitled to ours. (((And before I get backlash for my statements, I’ll let you know, I do listen mainly to R&B/Hip Hop music but I also enjoy a few country songs & artists. I do like Shania & Faith, and Taylor Swift & Miley Cyrus songs have begun creeping into my heads-even though I wouldn’t consider those two country. Melissa Ethridge songs have been sung by me on countless occasions-just to name a few artists)))

Making comments like if the same thing that happened to Biggie & Tupac were to happen to him… were UN-CALLED FOR! Again making this a race thing. A “thug”-as so many of you liked to call it-thing.

Cheesynaps-love the FOX news bit…fox news is crap!

The comment about country artists going to the BET awards and doing that to Kanye made no sense. If you hadn’t noticed…it was the MTV awards which caters to all genre’s, not the CMT awards which is for Country.

And lastly. Its time to put this thing to rest. Everyone has gotten over it but the “fans” who they don’t know & will never meet.

T-StillloveKanye-T, I don’t like the racial overtones of some of the posters myself. I have no problem with Kayne the person or his music, my problem is with his behavior. How many times can Kanye disrespect other artists and get away with it? There is a big difference with speaking your mind and showing disrespect. I honestly think Kayne needs to get help, in my opinon he has an anger management problem. If he continues with these outbursts then I do believe he will ruin his career. The outcry over what happened Sunday night was NOT coming from just the Country community, but the music community in general.

Even as the buzz on Twitter, Facebook, and the universe of entertainment news outlets is humming with the discussion of the hip-hop star’s outrageous antics at the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West doubled down on his image as an outspoken and no-holds-barred loudmouth yesterday.

During a service being held to remember the life and career Patrick Swayze, West barged his way into the pastor’s pulpit, comandered the mic and launched into a tyrade on the ’80s star’s death and funeral.

After seizing the platform from the startled reverend West said, “I’m happy for your Patrick and I’ll let them finish your service in a minute but I just wanted to say that Michael had one of the best funerals ever!”

  • 4Bull says:

    Posted: September 20th, 2009 at 2:21 pm

Bullride is right.. The uncalled for and disrespectful outburst by West was his opinion of Beyonce’s video and not the disappoval of Taylor’s video. He said he was happy for her. As for everyone else complaining about the Kanye, Taylor story, this is the hot topic, and if you don’t like it there are plenty of MUSIC blogs here that hardly anyone ever replies to! Did you also know that Kanye West has an artists page here at CMT? With his bio, his videos, his songs, tour dates, etc. The two faces of CMT are starting to show. If CMT is so offended by what Kanye did, and his disrespect for country music, why are they still promoting his life and music by featuring his artist page? And as “country” fans, why are you allowing it? Where’s the outrage about that?

If nothing had happened, if anyone even remembered that Taylor was on the show, it would have been to ask why she was on the mtv awards to begin with. Now she has all this publicity. Her label is either loving it, or hoping desperately that noone finds out she was in on it. These are the kind of things the mtv awards are known for. Just sayin.

Shirley Mason - Too bad because Taylor is in the country genre whether you or anyone else likes it or not. And just because her fans are kids (which not all of her fans are tweens) and relentlessly voted for her does not mean she deserves it any less. In fact it shows how loyal her fans are over Beyonce’s. I’m pretty sure if Taylor would have been nominated in the Video of the Year category she would have been competition for Beyonce. Beyonce did have an amazing video but bottom line is that it was a fan-voted award and Taylor won. Its that simple. It was not Kanye’s decision so he had absolutely no right to disrespect her by taking her moment away.

Enough is enough however. He did seem genuine on Leno show and also Taylor accepted his apology. The VMA should have been talked about for the Michael Jackson tribute but Kanye took that away as well. Congrats to Taylor for winning the VMA as a pop star.

Bullride yes Kanye said he was happy for Taylor, but he did NOT say she deserved the award now did he. Especially since he turned and then pointed to Beyonce and said she had one of the best video’s of all time. See to anyone with eyes and ears that means he did not think Taylor deserved to win because he felt Beyonce was robbed so not only did he disrespect Taylor, but he basically said the other 3 women did not deserve it either and it should have been Beyonce’s award period.

Kanye seemed to have forgotten it was the VMAs which are about the video and NOT the song. Beyonce’s song may have been great, but the video was boring as hell. At least Taylor’s told a story and she played both female parts in the story showing her acting talents.

  • Ringlord says:

    Posted: September 22nd, 2009 at 1:00 am

T-stillloveKanye-T what makes Kanye’s remarks that night look racially motivated is that he mentioned Beyonce’s video over any of the other nominees. Pink and Katey Perry were also nominated and not only were their songs just as good as Beyonce’s, but their videos were better. Nobody, but Kanye can say for sure if he meant it that way, but he seemed to imply he would have tried the same thing if Pink or Katey had won instead of Beyonce. Personally I wish Pink had won and he had done the same thing because I would have loved seeing her kick his butt all over the stage.

Now Taylor has accepted Kanye’s personal apology so I think the whole is a dead issue.

Shirley Mason all you know is someone made a comment about who they THINK will win because if the actual votes for these shows were known before hand ( except for fan voted awards ) then all credibility for the award show in question would be lost. Now considering the history of the award for Entertainer of the Year it is safe to assume one of the guys will win because this always seems to be a “Good Old Boy” voted award and women are not allowed to win or are given a token winner every 10 to 15 years to shut them up.

ad I don’t know where this ridiculous rumor came from, but when they come from a friend who knows someone who knows someone inside ( where ever ) they are always pure BS. Taylor’s parents may have been better off financially than some, but sorry, they were not wealthy enough to buy her a record deal. I am tempted to cry foul on some disgruntled Carrie Underwood fan who seems to think there is some competition between them. It is not that difficult to find out what the financial situation of Taylor’s parents was before her record deal. Look at it this way if her parents were so rich why did she go to public school?

T-zizzle is not so thugy after all more dumb blonde thugness

Can you explain what this is supposed to mean?!
    T-StillLoveKANYE-T = WAAAAAAAAA MOM WAAAAAAAA

Ringlord, maybe that just means he feels strongly that Beyonce had the best video.

Americans always seem to make things into racial issues….I’m sure many men would agree with Kanye West that a video like Beyonce’s was better then Taylor Swifts.

And people actually believe Kanye was sincere with his apologies? I dont for a second. I dont buy his excuse either about not taking time off after his mom died. If you dont have anything nice to say then keep your mouth closed.

It was all planned in advance. The only one not in on it was Taylor. Kanye and Beyonce both knew about it. Why do you think he got past security to approach the stage?

Some of the stuff you guys come up is hysterical! Security did not approach the stage because he is a celebrity. If it had been someone they didnt know they would have jumped him. He did get kicked out. Beyonce was cool to Taylor so dont put her down. I like her music better than Taylors!

Who really knows the reason behind the stunt - was it Taylor’s label who paid Kanye to get Taylors song to #1 on the Hot 100? Was it because Kanye felt since Taylor can’t sing and her vocals have to be fixed he doesn’t feel she’s a true artist ? Taylor is certainly not a country artist as she has remixed all her songs to POP and markets herself as POP internationally so is it really a diss against country? Kanye has done this before and hey look people wasn’t this the MTV awards ? not some country award show? Taylor just gave live interviews to Pop Top 40 stations and recorded interviews to country now is that a diss against country radio? Sooo many questions ????

Some people clearly have to much time on their hands to think up some of these ridiculous conspiracy theories. It would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic.

It was actually fnny to me. I agreed with Kayne. Beyonce did have one of the best videos of all times and won best overall. How she won best overall and yet not best femail just shows that taylors kid fans do nothing but stuff balot boxes, or phone lines, or text lines, or online boxes. her fans are really silly if they think she can sing. my god just listen to her. she’s terrible, and you people act like winning a fan voted video award actally means something. it doesnt’

Doc Monroe you could say the same thing about Beyonce. How do we know there was no ballot stuffing going on there? Since when did age have anything to do with your fan base? Evidently the girl can sing whether you can hear or not. It’s different I will admit but I hear what it is in her singing that is attracting a younger generation to country music from listening to other music my kids play.
I don’t really care for her myself but I’m not going to say she can’t sing because I have different taste.

It is evident that Kanye is an egotistical jerk starting with his behavior insulting Gretchen Wilson, then backstage saying “he” should have won best new vocalist. Sure Artists think that they are better (but they keep it to themselves). Kanye is just a humulating jackass. I was so glad when Vince Gill stood up to Kanye at that one award show. Then he makes a young girl cry. If she wasn’t a Country performer AssKanye wouldn’t have done that. He acts like he’s “King of the world”!
I wish he would have jumped up and tried to take a Mic out of Toby Keith’s hand! He’d be collecting his teeth & gonads from the floor.

You know I was going to ask folks to please not go to the concert that is being headlined by Jayz and ofcourse Rihanna and Kanye are there as well, well before I could ask folks out of respect for Taylor who wouldn’t hurt a fly or say a mean thing about anyone to not buy the tickets or go, well guess what they couldn’t sell enough tickets in Calgary folks here love Taylor and made it well known, they just announced that they cancelled the show, yes I am happy and its really early in the am here, so its gonna be a really good day I just know it, way to go folks, don’t go to this concert k, if your a fan of country music you shouldn’t go you don’t have to be a huge fan of Taylor even, but really she is a good person and in no way did she deserve such behaviour from another artist, she is too kool to make a big deal of it and wants to forget it some radio idiots try not to let her, but they just come off sounding like the idiots that they are, anyway folks I am just a super happy camper the show is cancelled here and I am hoping the same will happen all across Canada and than we’ll see what happens when they cross back. Have a great day ya’ll!

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. Thanks for sharing.
