Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser Share CMT on Tour
When Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser head out for this year's CMT on Tour, they'll be following in the footsteps of artists like Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Sugarland and Trace Adkins. But these two like to do things their own way and plan to make this tour uniquely their own. In this article about Houser's song, "Boots On," hitting Billboard's Top 5, he lets it slip that they plan to share the stage most of the night. "I might do two songs and then take a break," he says. "And he'll do two or three songs and then I'll come back. We're going to have two bands onstage basically the whole time. ... It's just going to be a night of music. ... It's what we used to do back in the day." Sounds like each night could end up with the longtime friends trading verses on their big hits and probably sneaking in some classics, too. The 2009 CMT on Tour will hit 30 cities starting Oct. 8 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Check out the details.

I’d like to see a Tour of Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Shooter Jennings, Dierks Bently, Montgomery Gentry and make it a rowdy outlaw tour.
They all could bring real country back
solongsowrong says:
Bring Real Country back from where? It never went away, if you know where to find it.

I get a lump in my throat every time I hear in color,I didn’t know who Jamie Johnson was till a buddy of mine said he was playing in Louisville,I been a fan ever since.
Redmaz says:
I agree with solongsowrong. Country Music is just as good if not better than ever, and other than Willie it has nothing to do with the people “Joe” mentioned.

Saw the show in Louisville Thursday night and all I can say is it was AWESOME!!! I wasn’t familiar with JJ except for the song In Color. I immediately came home and bought the CD.
Randy Houser was awesome too. When they both came out at the end and played the classic country set I was even more amazed.
I came home and told my wife that I wanted to go back on the road playing music, grow my hair and beard long, drink beer and play music. It’s got to beat the hell out my “real” job.
I took my son, who is a talented guitar player in his own right, and he was equally impressed.
Making a great night even greater was the show was at The Louisville Palace. If you’ve never been there try it.
