Kenny Chesney Stretches Austin City Limits

Austin City LimitsAustin City Limits, the famous PBS music series, is going to spend an hour on Kenny Chesney on Oct. 17. The show will feature stripped-down takes on "Beer in Mexico," "Summertime," "Young," "Anything but Mine" and "Somewhere in the Sun." And although this is his first invitation, Chesney already knows he's in good company. "All of the greatest artists and singer-songwriters have done Austin City Limits over the years, regardless of genre -- and to be a part of such a heritage, well, it's something I'd think every musician would want to do at some point in their career. I'm just blown away that I get to have an entire hour to give my fans this music in a whole different way than I think they're used to." I, personally, am looking forward to watching because he'll have his "Down the Road" duet partner, Mac McAnally, with him. Chesney's super psyched about that, too, saying, "The song with Mac was really special to me, and this is the sort of place where it can have the respect it truly deserves ... and I think it does."

He taped this a few months ago … can’t wait to see it.

I’m hoping this message actually shows up. Does anyone else have a problem posting on the blogs or is it just me? Sometimes it posts my message and sometimes not. When my message doesn’t show up and I try to post it again I get a message saying “It looks like you’ve already said that.” Well yeah, I may have said it but you didn’t post it!!!

Kenny Chesney is an amazing singer. I love all of his songs. 3 years ago i went to one of his concerts in fargo & it was amazing. I got like 5 feet away from him & i almost die.. it was like heaven. I love the song “Who You Would Be Today” & “Out Last Night” are some of my favorites. Most of his songs are good. I hope sometime day in the future I will see him in concert again.
