Kenny Chesney Introduces Clothing Collection
Sometimes, loving the music isn't enough. Sometimes, in a show of solidarity, you want to be just like the artists you love. To drink the beer they drink, drive the cars they drive and, now, wear the clothes they wear. Enter Blue Chair Bay, the new, laid-back line of shirts, khakis and hats designed by Kenny Chesney. He says the collection was made to feel just like your favorite khakis or like a shirt you've had forever. He sure looks comfortable on stage, so I'm guessing if this stuff is good enough for Chesney, it's certainly good enough for his fans. Right now, the only place you can go to stock up on Chesney's stuff is at Levy's in Nashville, Ocean Eddie's in Alabama or Fast Buck Freddie's in Key West. There's no word on whether or not he designed the line while in his old blue chair after catching a few fish and some rays, watching boats sail in and out of Cinnamon Bay, reading a lot of books and writing a few songs.

Blue Chair Bay is a clothing line that is inspired by Kenny Chesney. He conveyed his likes / dislikes of clothing/style and then he and the design team went to work putting together the line. Blue Chair Bay reflects a laid back style with a great fit and fabric. The styles are simple, the fabric is awesome, and the denim/khakis have an awesome fit. There will be men’s, womens, and denim. It will be in stores soon, and when once it is check it out. The majority of people will be able to identify it, wear it, and like it.

Jayne’s explanation makes a lot more sense. But my post was sort of tongue-in-cheek; I figured that’s what was going on. I know this stuff happens all the time with licensing deals. I just thought I’d poke fun a little.

He instead better be cleaning up his concerts, with his promoting of drinking and tailgating they are becoming a bad vibe, he encourages it with the all day tailgating, and drinking. Hundreds were arrested at his concert in Boston. The one where two died from his concert last year.
Doesn’t say much for Kenny’s music that his fans rather get plasted and puke all over the place, fight and get arrested than listen to the music and be able to remember it the next day.
Heard now he has gotten into a deal with Hooters and they will be promoting him, figures.

I’ve never heard Kenny promote tailgating or encourage anyone to drink. He can not help what people do at his shows underage drinking is not his problem it’s the kids parents. When people drink and act crazy what can Kenny do about it. The girls that died didn’t even have tickets to the show they shouldn’t even been there. That wasn’t Kenny’s fault. Look at what happened at Tim Mcgraw shows fighting and getting grab in the balls, Timmy thinks he’s security or something even so he can’t help what goes on either. IMO, Tim should let the real security deal with it.
And whats so wrong with Hooters I love their hot wings!!

I’m with janet, his music of late has promoted PARTY. I like Kenny’s NEW song with Dave Matthews (?)and his reminiscent type songs- plus when he first started recording. The island stuff is O-L-D, and gotten boring. I agree that artists should have better security to prevent grabbing, stalking, & drunkenness though. The artists job is to PERFORM. I do not fault Tim for taking action if nothing else is being done.

I don’t think singing about partying is telling people to party, drink or whatever. People are who they are and will do what they want, know one will make you do anything Kenny’s not at fault. IMO, Kenny’s Be As You Are (island music as you call it) is my favorite album. But I also think in such a big venue (witch was sold out over 50,000 people) there should be a lot more security at least the police we’re doing their job.

My goodness, to the few ignorant people on this blog, Kenny is not responsible for his fans actions. They buy tickets in advance and he doesn’t pick and chose who wants to get plastered or not. I will without a doubt buy Kenny’s line. At least he has a sense a fashion unlike his friend Timmy who wears shiny pants and a ugly, sleeveless, redneck T-shirt. Seems to be Timmy has the most unruly fans of all..the disgusting wife beating kind. NICE! You want some trailer park with that concert timmy?

According to the article the police crackdown stemmed from his concert there last year when two women were killed in a car accident after a day of tailgating on the parking lot. Neither of them had tickets to his concert.
It’s true that Kenny’s concerts provide a party atmosphere with the tailgating but in the end people have to be responsible for their own actions. I get so tired of people blaming others for their own stupidity.

I can’t wait to see his clothing line. I hope they come close to Oklahoma or on the web. I agree that Kenny is not responsible for the careless actions of people. I think that he cares more about his fans than a lot of entertainers. You can tell that he is sincere and appreciative of his fans and really cares about them. He puts on a great concert!!!

kenny is one sexy man. and he is really nice too w/ good manners and funny! i have seen him the past 7 years in concert and it just gets better every year! this summer i was @ his thank you dallas show that he played for 4 hours and it was FREE! that was probably the best night of my life- words cant even describe it! thanks kenny for some awesome music and for putting on the best shows EVER and for being to darn SEXY!!!!
