Must-Love Justin Moore Track of the Day: "I Could Kick Your Ass"
Blogger's Note: Justin Moore's debut album is out this week, and I will be blogging about some of my favorite tracks each day. I have fallen for this music very hard, so my enthusiasm can't possibly be confined to just one blog.
I never had a tough guy in my life to threaten the other guys in my life. But if I did, I'd want them to have the believable swagger and attitude Justin Moore's got here. For a mean song, it's got kind of a slow groove with that deep, slow Arkansas drawl of his. I guess that's why it sounds so sexy that he's gonna kick your ass, jack your jaw, put you flat in the dirt and knock that smirky little grin right off of your face. I'm not sure if Moore's ever been in any fights where he's used language like this. But he co-wrote it, so I'm sure the inspiration came from somewhere in his small-town farm life. And listen for that honky-tonk piano in the middle, and see if it doesn't remind you of an old Garth Brooks song.

Bill says:
I Could Kick Your Ass…yeah, that sounds like a great song that I’d want to listen to…not.
merlefan49 says:
Oh boy this is a bad song. Badly written and badly sung.
Redmaz says:
I agree. This is not good.
ALH says:
GREAT song.. GREAT artist..
Sis says:
Sounds like a stupid song.
Della says:
All Of Justin Moor’s Songs are Great. I think He Is Not Only a Great Singer Song Writer. But He Has His Own Unique
Style. He’s A Natural and I think He will be up there with the Liikes of George Straight and Allan Jackson. I Have already changed the Ringtone on my Song to Small Town USA.
merlefan49 says:
Hey Della,
Don’t you mean George Strait and Alan Jackson?
