Kenny Chesney: David Nail's Latest Songwriter
By now, it's likely you've heard of this sex symbol of a country star named David Nail. His debut single "Red Light" has been the buzz for a few weeks now. But for the last three days, I have been listening nonstop to his whole album, I'm About to Come Alive, that comes out in mid-August. And now I have another major favorite song. It's called "Turning Home." Kenny Chesney co-wrote it with country hit machine Scooter Carusoe, and I can't imagine why he didn't keep it for himself. Maybe it sounds too much like his version of Mac McAnally's "Back Where I Come From." Anyway, the quiet intro builds to a long song packed with imagery of street lights swaying in the breeze and picture postcards making good company. The gospel sound of the song and the soul in Nail's voice have me hooked. And it's shown me that he's not just another smokin' hot face.

I loveeee this song! Alison you should also take notice that another one of David’s songs “Summer Job Days” was co-written by Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox!
Pretty sweet :)
