Miley Cyrus and Willie Nelson: Together at Last
My, how times have changed. A little Cyrus has the cover story, and the legendary Willie Nelson's got a tiny CD review. But still, it's good to see another fashion mag like Elle shining the light on all kinds of artists. The Cyrus story comes complete with an uber-sexy photo shoot (have we not been through this before?) and some good quotes from the 16-year-old superstar, like "I love my teeth. My dad won't let me fix my teeth or cut my hair. He loves it. He's like, 'It's you!'" and how the jeans are her favorite part of her new line for Wal-Mart. As she explains it, "Because, like, literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don't have it available." Even her makeup artist Mai Quynh reveals some good dish: Cyrus digs nude lip gloss called Glow Baby Glow in a shade known as "secret." Quynh says, "She likes to have her makeup natural because the few times she's gone more dramatic, she's had people tell her she's too young to be wearing that type of makeup!" Too young for heavy makeup, maybe, but she's old enough for a push-up bra.

I LOVE MILEY! I know it’s funny because I am 21 and she is 16 and I am a huge fan. But I absolutley love her down to earth attitude and the way she looks at life. How she knows she is only 16 and has a lot of challenges yet to live and go through but she takes it one at time and learns from each one. Heck I remember when I was 16 and I was making all kinda of mistakes…but I learned from all of them. Miley is a great role model. I know some people don’t agree but I think she made a great life for herself and she does a lot for others. She is a great person and her music is beautiful. Thanks Miley for being such a great role model to younger/older people. I hope you continue to be a great role model. :)
