Alan Jackson's Home in Pictures
I'd already blogged about the fact that Alan Jackson and his family were considering downsizing and getting out from under the monster that is Sweetbriar. And now, we have the actual listing sheet. You know, the sheet you carry around with you while you are looking at the house, asking how the water pressure is and if the roof is a tear-off and what the school district's like. Things to make you sound like a prospective buyer of this $38 million crib on the Harpeth River in Franklin, Tenn. Be sure to check out the pictures, too, just to see how lucrative it was for Jackson to have gone country. Gawk all you want here, but only schedule an appointment with the realtor if you're serious about the purchase. Seriously.

Try reading the blog, then you’ll know why. Anyway…it’s gaudy overkill on the Redneck Riviera.

WooWee! That’s a Biggun’! I’d get lost in there! That house is about as big as the town a grew up in!
Annie says:
I cannot believe he lives there! Wow! As he been living there for long? Did his 3 girls grow up there..??? What an amazing place to live. I personnally find that the REAL house doesn’t look like Alan’s style. I find he would be more the style of the cabines (that are bigger than my house).
It is really beautiful!!! I wonder who would buy it!
Good luck selling it Alan!

D apparently has not seen Alan lately. He is hotter than ever. He is still keeping it country, as he always has. I saw him up close at the Opry last September and women of all ages rushed the stage for a closer look. Denise is a very lucky woman.
Stuart says:
Alan’s home is a stunning spread to say the least. Just past it a little bit ago and he was pulling in. He is still doing a lot of tour dates and his last record was just as good as his 1st and has done just as well if not better. They are just looking to down size since the kids are growing up. They still have the lake house as well which isn’t near as big but every bit as nice. Alan can go out (of the business) when he wants and how wants on his own terms. He has earned that time and time again.
Dora says:
I am very happy for the Jackson’s. Alan Jackson is an amazing country music artist and well deserves to live in this beautiful home with his beautiful family. He has worked very hard to aquire all that he owns. I had the pleasure of meeting him years ago and found that he is very much a country gentlemen.I own nothing like the Jackson’s but can appreciate wanting to down size after your children are grown and moved out.
Carole Podgorny says:
I have the greatest admiration, and respect for Alan.
Three years ago a net friend sent me a video of Alan. I was never in to country music, but after viewing that one vido, I was hooked.
What a gifted, voice, and his song writing, talks to the listener.Music for me has always been secondary to breathing, nonwithstanding my family.
I joined the Platnum fan club after that.
Last October, we had the privlage of seeing him in concert, in illinois.
We had fsn club seating, and were in the 7TH row.
Alan was awesome.!!!!
He has an increable fan base.and sings country.
we were so thrilled to see this Super star, that is so very easy on the eyes. Very handsome ladies.
He does have a lovely family.
Gee, I read quite a bit, and yes the girls did grow up in that geougous home.
Someone here that also commented above, said he/she couldnt believe that the house was something Alan would select, rsther this person said, it would be country.
You know, for some unforseen reason, I think that home that they built was what Alan wanted. As huge as the estate is, I found it to be warm and inviting for those they entertain.
but, lol, I do not think Alan is very full of himsel at all. I know he is shy, and find that enduring.
I too wish Alan, and his family much luck, and know that things will work out well for them with the move.
Blessings, to the Jacksons.I hope Alan tours to chicago, or the burbs, after the new year; like last year.
