Martina McBride: The Bikini Cover
Et tu, Martina? First Faith Hill did it, and now you. Putting on a bikini at your age, after three rounds in the delivery room, for a magazine cover*? I can't decide if it makes me hate you or love you. On the one hand, I hate you because I don't look like that. But, on the other hand, seeing you on the cover of Shape magazine looking so, so perfect makes me love you for giving me and the rest of the middle-aged women out there a body to aspire to. (Not to mention it assuages any fears I had that I could never look 20 years old again.) So, thank you. I guess.
* Yes, I know that Julianne Hough and LeAnn Rimes are on the magazine cover, too, also in skimpy two-pieces. But they are younger and childless, so it just doesn't impress me as much as the shot of McBride.

Point one, Martina has always had a gorgeous body and always looked younger than Faith Hill. Faith has aged horribly and her hair is like horse’s hair. No one is more airbrushed than Faith Hill in her bikini shot. The lines around her eyes, forehead and neck weren’t shown at all. Up close all and in person, all you can see is one big wrinkle over Faith’s entire face.

Faith is a beautiful both inside and out. Saw her last fall at one of her many appearances for her album and she is very beautiful. Like Martina she is really in shape and a body that is defontely in shape.

I must say Faith Hill looks pretty old compared to Martina McBride. Martina always kept in shape and always looks good. Faith on the other hand has had plenty, plenty of sun exposure and has gained and lost weight on a regular basis. Martina is the most beautiful and the most talented. It’s a shame she doesn’t get recognized anymore. Martina And Shania have always presented themselves well. Faith not so much.

No wonder our young girls feel inferior, look what they get to look forward to, getting picked apart by people (I’m assuming adults) that should know better than to judge the outside. Why are people being so mean? Martina and Faith are both incredibly gorgeous ladies inside and out. Everyone ages, of course they don’t look 25 anymore, but they both look stunning. I am a 21 year old guy and I am able to look past the little things, like the wrinkles that a few of you are quick to point out. They look fantastic and they continue to make great music and set a great example for younger women in country music.

I just saw Martina a week ago and it looked to me like she had a lot of makeup on. I thought she was aging. But didn’t think anything of it. Both Faith and Martina are aging. So what. I love them both. I don’t really understand the posing in a bikini thing. But when you are a star you have to keep the people talking and noticing you or you fall by the wayside. People can be fickle, they forget, always want something new.

I went to High School with Martina and can say she has never looked so good. I just saw her on the 4th as she put on a celebration back in our hometown of Sharon. I am so proud of what she has done in the business and how she handles herself. She does not want extra attention when she comes back and wants to be just one of the gang, but it is hard to do when you are the greatest female singer in country music.
