A New Southern Blend From Tim McGraw
Sounds like a great new song title, doesn't it? But how does it smell? According to a few sources, pretty damn good.
Southern Blend is Tim McGraw's new cologne. And it has the heady concoction of grapefruit, star anise, bergamot, a heart of lavender, violet leaves, amber and tobacco. At first glance, it seems like it would make a guy smell like he just ate a grapefruit, took an aromatherapy bath and then smoked a cigarette. But I'm sure it's better than that. Otherwise, I doubt McGraw would put his name on it. When it comes to this fragrance stuff, he really knows what he's doing.
Last summer, he launched McGraw by Tim McGraw, and in its first year, it made more than $40 million. And while McGraw may admit he's not a big fragrance guy, he says, "I live in a houseful of women, so I'm not totally ignorant to that world." That scent went on to win two FiFis (which sound like the Grammys of the fragrance industry).
So Coty, the actual maker of this new scent, has described Southern Blend as the essence of the Southern man -- charming and strong, yet at the same time, sexy and rough around the edges. Like, well, McGraw. And McGraw himself describes the process of finding the right scent this way: "I just wanted something understated and cool -- something where you didn't feel like you were putting on some sort of French name, something that had a masculine feel to it." Amen to that, cowboy.
After a lifetime of dating guys who wore a half a bottle of Polo or Grey Flannel every single night, I think charming and strong and understated and cool sounds like the perfect Southern blend.

My husband gets compliments about Tim’s colonge, it really does have a awesome scent.
As for naming things after you so does that incude ShaniA and her perfume or how about Toby and his clothing and cowbody hat line, see them in Cracker Barrel all the time.
Or how about George’s commericals for Wranglers and Tractor supplies. How about Reba’s clothing line I see in Dillards.
Could name for so does them nasty remarks apply to the other artists also are just Tim.

That article also stated his new album will be out in November and will be called Southern Voice. He new movie he is finishing up with Sandra Bullock will be in theatres November 20th.
Also he will start a new big tour in January.

I have this cologne and it’s pretty good stuff! I’m thinking about getting the original cologne as well. I agree with Janet about the snide comment made about Tim. Somebody definitely needs to get a life; or get out more. I had know idea Brother Tim Mcgraw was an actor. But I’m pretty new to the Souther/Country world. I was raised in a house where Jazz was played all the time and still is. Lets just say I have found my lifestyle and personality in the Southern/Country style of life.
