Sometimes I Thank Garth Brooks for Unanswered ... Phone Calls
Decisions, decisions. Who will you ever chose to leave your outgoing voicemail message? Should it be Dierks Bentley? Taylor Swift? Luke Bryan? Eric Church? Craig Morgan? Kellie Pickler? Keith Anderson? Or, if you're really aiming high, Garth Brooks? It is just about the coolest thing a country fan can put on his/her cell phone. Each one says something like "Hey y'all this is (big country star) and my friend can't come to the phone right now, but if you leave her (or him) a message, she (or he) will get back to you as soon as she (or he) can. Thanks and have a great day." The directions are pretty high tech, so I couldn't get all the right-clickiness to work. I just recorded mine the old fashioned way: with my phone's microphone held up close to my laptop's speaker. But for folks out there who know their way around MP3s, it should be a no-brainer.

I work all day and I would love to come home and relax with some great country music but instead I am stuck with Super Nanny or Redneck wedding or something other than music. Recently I was home sick and videos were only on in the a.m..I sure wish cmt wpould think of us who work all day and would really like a little music to end the day

I completely agree with you, gail wilson. It’s probably because MTV owns CMT. I’m so tired of seeing all these annoying shows on TV when all I really want is music. Anyway, neat blog.

Here’s another vote for more music and less Nanny and Redneck Wedding on CMT!! I do watch CMT but as they say on GAC “How many number 1 songs has the Nanny had?? I love shows like Katy Cook’s Inside Edition. Also would love to see more biographies on the stars……..like “Behind the Music” or “Inside Fame”.

Mary,
Watch GAC if your cable company offers it. It’s all about the music and will showcase artists that mainstream radio/CMT ignores.
