Keith Urban Sets the Stage for World Tour

Keith Urban rehearsal Have you ever wondered how an artist spends the days leading up to a big tour? Does he pray? Do yoga? Hang with family? Probably all of the above for some. But for Keith Urban, he's been busy busy busy prepping his show. Specifically, the stage. "The actual physical stage we are performing on is designed to get me into the audience as easily as possible. I have a tendency to want to jump right into the audience and be part of them, and the way we've designed the stage makes that much easier for me," he hinted. And just how long does this 3,500-square foot custom-built stage take to build at each venue? Eight hours. It only takes three to break it down though. Watch for exhausted production crews coming soon to a city near you. The Escape Together World Tour kicks off Thursday (May 7) in Connecticut.

Oh my goodness. I really, really want to see Keith in concert again but he’s not coming to a city near me :( He always puts on the best shows.

I have seen Keith every time he has come to Cleveland, OH on his own and with Kenny… He puts on the best concerts I have ever been to and I have been to alot. We are flying to Chicago to see him in May then will see him again when he comes to Cleveland, OH in Aug.

Jackie - I the other day heard that a European leg of the tour was recently announced/posted at Keith’s official site - “Keith Urban dot Net”. I think for the fall. Hooray for our European Urbanite Pals!

We saw 5 semi trailer units go through Salmon Arm, BC on the 17th all with the words Keith Urban World Tour. Thought you’d like to know.
