CMT Music Pass Sent Me to See Rascal Flatts

Rascal FlattsBelieve it or not, I have lived in Nashville for nearly 19 years and until recently had never been to the Grand Ole Opry. It was particularly exciting because Rascal Flatts was the featured artist that night. The show began with some classic country humor and music, then the artists just kept coming. I got to see Little Jimmy Dickens (of course), Buddy Jewell, Danielle Peck, Ricky Skaggs, Steve Wariner, Rascal Flatts and several others. Our seats were in the lower level, so we could see all of the artists. However, I don't think that there is a bad seat in the place. When it was time for Rascal Flatts to come on stage, everyone rushed down the aisles to get a closer look. The Opry lets you do this and even take all of the photos that you want. My husband and I stayed in our seats as we were happy with our view already. Well, let me tell you, Rascal Flatts is one of those groups that sound just as great in person as they do on the radio. This wasn't a big and flashy show. It was three guys and a backup band performing some great tunes. They treated us to some classics as well as their new single, "Here Comes Goodbye." Thank you, CMT Music Pass, for introducing me to this fun and exciting experience. Check out Rascal Flatts' upcoming tour dates.

Glad you had a wonderful time. Gary, Jay and Joe Don are some of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. And you’re right, they sound just as great live as they do on the radio. I was in attendance as well, it was also my first time going to the Opry. My friend and I had 5th row seats, but of course we were one of those who rushed the stage and we were right there in front of Joe Don on the left side. For most of us who rushed the stage we are in their fan club and have seen them multiple times (that made my 26th time), so it was like a mini concert for us. Hope you’re able to catch the guys on tour sometime this summer. They will really blow you away if you haven’t seen them before the Opry appearence!

The Opry is a wonderful experience - in an evening you can see a whole range of artists, well worth a ticket!!

I wasn’t that impressed with Rascal Flatts. I thought their show was very bland. I was bored. I did however enjoy Steve Wariner and Danielle Peck.
