High School Student Gets Off the Hook, Thanks to Gloriana
Who says singers and musicians can't have a profoundly positive effect on America's youth? While serving as the opening act for Taylor Swift's new tour, Gloriana will be headlining their own concerts earlier in the day at high schools in many markets. With the tour kicking off Thursday night (April 23) in Evansville, Ind., the quartet made its first school stop at Evansville North High School. Not long after their performance, a student named Sara posted the following message on the group's MySpace page:
so you guys played a couple songs at my school in evansville today. i dont know if you remember me, but i had you all sign my detention slip to see if it would ease the blow when i gave it to my mom. well it worked. she laughed more than she lectured :) and she forgot to ground me! so thanks
Gloriana. Building a fan base ... one fan at a time.
