Holly Williams Offers Her Two Cents' Worth
In a play on words, Holly Williams shares her thoughts on a relationship gone sour and kicks her love to the curb with the hook line of "Keep the Change." Not a bad song, and her vocals are strong, but what is going on in this video? Obviously, she’s planning an escape from a smothering love-gone-wrong, but the video is rather lacking in suspense. Will she propel herself down the window by using beautiful, neatly tied scarves? Or will she use that power drill she keeps hauling around? She sure seems to be working hard on that small hole in the wall. Maybe that nail file or envelope opener will help her dig her way out. You’ll have to see for yourself. I sure don’t want to spoil the fun(ds).

The family tradition continues. Very good song, great vocal by Holly, I really like the studio mix. Something you can feel. No doubt played mostly live as a band with very little if any overdubs. The band sounds great.
kate e. says:
the song’s alright but that was one of the stupidest and most boring videos i’ve ever seen
RedMaZ says:
kate e. I was wondering, have you ever heard of a Country Music legend named Hank Williams?
RedMaZ says:
Has anyone here heard of Hank Williams?
RedMaZ says:
Has anyone here ever heard of….Hank Williams Jr.?
mama says:
RedMaZ,
Yea, we have heard of him..Your point? Holly’s voice is strong, but I must agree with Kate, the video was boring. But, I do like her voice and I shall look forward to hearing more from her.
solongsowrong says:
Gee Red, you were cut off before you got to Hank Williams III. Who, by the way, has some kick butt music.
Not being much of a fan of video’s, because they distract from the music, I spent my time paying attention to what was important. I agree, the band and music were exceptional. Definitely worth some further research into her catalog.
RedMaZ says:
…or Jett. Anyway….mama, my point being Holly Williams is Hank Williams’Grand daughter. Holly released a CD in 2004 called “The Ones we Never Knew”.
