A Dressed-Up Donation From Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift There are hundreds of worthwhile charities out there. But knowing how many girls can't afford a dress for prom (or sweet 16 or quinceañera) right now, I'd say this one seems extra special. It's called donatemydress.com, a national dress drive that helps put formal dresses into the hands of girls who might not be able to afford them. And now, they're getting a big donation from Taylor Swift in the form of a long cream and gold Jessica McClintock gown that is part of the group's celebrity charity auction. "I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it!" Swift said. "To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again, seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress." Knowing someone's going to prom in Taylor Swift's dress warms my heart. So thank you, Taylor, on behalf of all the girls like me who were forced to wear hideous, outdated, hand-me-down dresses from big sisters.

that is a great idea what a sweetheart she is so giving and has a kind heart!! more stars should do things like this for us non-star people, that is great of taylor!!!!!

This kind gesture by Taylor should not come as a surprise. I think that her success not only comes from her remarkable talent, but also her engaging spirit toward her fans and all others,and I also hope you stay FOREVER YOUNG..

Ok so i also seen her at country jam 2 or 3 years ago she she came to the i was working at but she had a wig so no one would notice her! she is really talented and i hope she can keep it up!!!!

not a hog at all..Taylor has donated many things to charity in the past. One thing that comes to mind is the 100 thousand she donated to the flood victims of Cedar Rapids, IA. She donated her 16th birthday present a truck (the pink one) to a camp for boys. She donated all her proceeds from one day of sales at the CMA festival also.
